Welcome to Librarium Online!
So, here's my first try at a DE list. A very intresting and different army! I originally thought about making a WWP army but it was hard to make it effective at a 1000pts so I decided to go with a more general army instead.
Any advice and tips are of course welcommed!
Arcon - 131pts
Agoniser, Splinter pistol
Shadow Field, Combat Drugs
Goes with Wyches
Wyches - 195pts
1 Succubus - agoniser
2 Warrior Squad - 100pts x2
2 Dark Lances
2 Raider squads - 176pts x2
1 Sybarite - agoniser
1 Splinter cannon
Ravager - 120pts
Nice choices, as a WWP at 1000 points is not only hard to master, it's a point sink.
Aside from that, good all around list, nothing really wrong with it in any way, shape, or form.
Personally i'm a fan of hybrid ravagers (i.e the same set up vect has) - keeps them cheap and still gives you that lance for when you need that little extra oomph (and for thsoe days when it all goes wrong an extra lance never hurt).
Also while not important at 1k horrorfex's on ye old ye raiders are something that is incrediably hard to pass up.
Of course that kind of comes down to who your regular opponents are - but even marines feel the squeeze (and teaches thsoe pesky gunline people to try soemthing else).
But as said its a solid 1k list.
You may come a little unstuck as you only have 1 "true" assault unit with the raider squads in a support role - but that coems down to how you play the list not the list itself per se.
Thanks for the comments.
When it comes down to tactics I really doesn't have a defined picture, more like a general idea. Since it is only 1k I don't expect to need to more than one dedicated CC specialist unit and two support units (if I consider my regular opponents, which are marines, chaos, guard and to a certian extent Orks) so I think those will do fine if I pick my targets with care.
What I'm thinking at the moment is to charge in with the Wyches and Arcon alone to tie up a unit and hopefully defeat them in two rounds of combat. I'm a little worried that the extra agoniser and attacks from the Arcon might be enough to win in 1, so the Raider squads will have the purpose of trying to tie up nearby squads to prevent them from providing assault or fire support.
The rest will aim to blast anything that seems like a threat to pieces.
Now, that's the plan. We will see how it survives first contact...
