Welcome to Librarium Online!
I'm starting my new army based off the ork codex. This is pretty much a non-competitive lsit, seeing as how I am choosing many of the units in my army because I like the models.
Warboss w/ MA
Big Mek w/ KFF
5 Meganobz w/ Trukk
12 Burnas w/ 3 Meks
3 x 20 slugga boyz w/ PK 'eavy armor nob, 2 big shootas, and boss pole
1 Deffdred w/ 2 Big Shootas
5 Warbikers w/ Big Choppa Nob and bosspole
3 warbuggies w/ TL-rokkit and red paint job
3 x 3 Killa Kans w/ Rokkits
I think this list would do decent. My plan is to have the warboss join up with the Meganobz in the trukk to provide a quick reserve of sorts. The boyz would be behind the kan wall, whilst the warbuggies would flank one side and the warbikers the other side. With ten walkers infront and a KFF I think my boyz would be able to survie the way there from all but the heaviest shooting, especially because I plan on using the Burna Boyz sqaud to help repair any damaged Killa Kans. Due note that I am relatively new to this game, and this is not to be a real competitive list.
I reckon you should replace the warboss with a bigmek in mega armour with a burna. This would allow you to get anouther dreadnought. Consider breaking the warbuggies into 2 squads to make them easier to hide. A bosspole is probably unneccisary on the bikes.
Yep, warbuggies should go in two squads if you have free slots. And I strongly suggest a PK instead of the choppa on bikes.
One more thing - you have 3 squads of killa kans, and only one squad of burnas with meks for repears, big mek is the second, but why not divide the burnas for two 6 men squads with 3 meks each? They could be right behind the kans, each mek touching one of them, this way the enemy could not shoot them, and you can repear your kans on the move, and if needed you have 6 additional big shootas to soften something before the charge.
