Welcome to Librarium Online!
This evening I was bored and tried to relax by making armylists. Probably a normal procedure by the folks hanging out here at Librarium Online.
The resulting armylist was so pleasing that I'am actually considering buying this army and starting a small swarm of Tyranids! ^^
The Swarm is themed around the Lictor, and if I could I would use it as my HQ, but thats not the case. But on the other hand a gargantuan flying acid-spewing son-of-a-Spinefist Hive Tyrant should probably look cool on the battlefield as well...
Hive Tyrant 180p
2x Schyting Talons
Tactically the Tyrant will advance and give synapse for the gaunts, who themselfs will be advancing as fast as possible. The lictor will pop out and make a mess while the Zoanthrope will try to pop tanks or marines. Thats all I guess...
The fast attack spore mines are just a thing I would like to try out, and in the beginning of this list I had three slots of fast attack filled with spore mines. ( Stupid, I know, I know ^^)
Yet having the sky rain spore mines on the enemy is just so nice...
Any way, what do you Tyranid-guys and womenfolk think of this list? Will it be torn asunder on turn 2 or will it devour?

For a 500 pointer, it looks pretty good to me. The only marginal thing I see is the Spore Mine Cluster (which have rules issues).
Use the Lictor to support the Gaunts in CC with Feeder Tendrils, and you'll be golden.
Well I could ditch the spore and give synapse to the Zoanthrope, but I don't really think that will make a big difference. Or will it?
I didn't even realize that your Zoanthrope didn't have synapse! Yes, it's that important... I'd never consider deploying a Zoanthrope without it. Among other things, it makes sure your army stays functional when your Hive Tyrant bites it. Very few people will shoot at Zoanthropes until their warp blast fries a few marines. :3
The spore mines gotta go! ^^
Thanks for the help, and rep for you
