Hey guys, my 750 point list went pretty well, so I'm looking at the following for 1000 points. Any help would be apprecaited.
Farseer w/ doom - 80 points
6 Harlies, shadowseer, 6 kisses - 162 points
(rides in Falcon)
6 Fire Dragons - 96 points
(rides in Wave Serpent)
10 Dire Avengers, Exarch w/ Bladestorm, 2 catapults - 152 points
6 Pathfinders - 120 points
Wave serpent with twin linked shuriken cannons, spirit stones - 110 points
Vyper w/ twin linked shuriken cannon, twin linked shuriken catapult - 50 points
Falcon w/ star cannon, pulse laser, twin linked shuriken catapult, holofields, spirit stones - 185 points
If I'm doing my math right, that's a total of 979 and gives me about 20 points to play with. So... any suggestions for 20 points? Another Fire Dragon (I can't fit another harlie into the falcon). Vectored Engines for the falcon?
I think I want to play a blitz heavy style for eldar. I could be tempted into field two squads of 6 pathfinders, and then adding some war walkers, and replacing the fire dragons with another close combat group (scorps or banshees depending on the enemy). But that's a whole different list for a different day since I don't have my Codex with me.

It looks very nice in my opinion. I'm not sure what u could do with last 21 points. except maybe another dragon...
Decent enough I guess, your plan is to slog him with the DA?Farseer w/ doom - 80 pointsperfect!6 Harlies, shadowseer, 6 kisses - 162 points
(rides in Falcon)If you have them in a serpent I would like to see a few more bodies and possibly the exarch with crack shot and the DBHF.6 Fire Dragons - 96 points
(rides in Wave Serpent)perfect!10 Dire Avengers, Exarch w/ Bladestorm, 2 catapults - 152 points
6 Pathfinders - 120 pointsspend 10 of those left over points to equip this with dual cannonsVyper w/ twin linked shuriken cannon, twin linked shuriken catapult - 50 pointsin my opinion you would be better off running dual shuricannons than the single starcannon. Price should be about the same for 3x the shots.Falcon w/ star cannon, pulse laser, twin linked shuriken catapult, holofields, spirit stones - 185 points
I would say drop a pathfinder and pick up at least 2 more dragons and get that extra shuricannon for the vyper and you should be good to go!
IRON WITHIN, IRON WITHOUT!

Thanks for the help guys! That's a really good idea about the shuriken cannons on the falcon. I like the star cannon for the better AP value, but to save on points, maybe I will make the switch.
I have found that, for some reason, that 6th pathfinder makes the squad so much more efficient. I played a five man squad for about 8 months and was never happy with what the pathfinders did in a game. I upped it to 6, and suddenly they were making their points back in spades. Just recently they took down a carnifax with 4 AP 1 shots.
I will try to find a way to get at least one more fire dragon into the wave serpent since the WS can carry 11 guys.
Also, yes, the doomseer does run with the dire avengers.
here's that second list I promised:
Farseer w/ doom: 80 points
6 Harlequins, Shadowseer, 6 kisses: 162 points
(rides in falcon)
5 Striking Scorpions, Exarch, Biting Blade: 97 points
(rides in WS?)
10 Dire Avengers, Exarch w/ Bladestorm, two shuriken catapults: 152 points
6 pathfinders: 144 points
Vyper w/ shuriken cannon, twin linked shuriken catapult: 50 points
Falcon w/ pulse laser, star cannon, twin-linked shuriken catapults, holofield, vectored engines, spirit stones: 205 points
Not TOO different, but the scorps I think make this much more of a close combat oriented list.
I think you will get a fair bit of oposition to the idea of having your scorpions in a serpent (not to mention that personal taste for me is that if you are going to have a cc unit in a transport then make it full strength) because they can't fleet and therefore aren't as mobile as other transported units - banshees for example.
Personally I like the fire dragons - they are somewhat more versatile regarding their targets (i.e. everything bar an avatar)
