I would expect this list to get a serious kicking at RTT, it is very fragile with little real substance to it, many units are not configur3ed for optimum efficiency, now please dont take that the wrong way, it is fluffy for say Beil Tann, it would be fine for friendlies against opponents who are not to competative, that sort of game winning is not particularly imortant and you can make up a lot for its inefficiency with good tactical play. However in a serious tourney it will encounter good tactical players with serious armies, at that point it is dead, Ithink priciply the solution is based on one of the following:
1, Accept you are going to get a good kicking occasionally but what the heck
2. Try and make it more competative, principly the fault is that you are trying to do too much and thus are not spending enough on units to make them efficient, therefore you would need to drop one, possibly two units, try and cover the shortfall of what they give you and use the points to tweak the remaining units to strength
(eg: bring DA up to full strength, consider, although not entirely sold, replacing pathfinders, bring reapers up to full str or better yet give exarch tempest launcher, you are light on anti tank, give WL EML and BL, put the hawks in a display cabinet and loose the key, up the number of harleys in the squad, give the Warp spiders deep strike
Everything you have been told is a lie!
I agree with Cheredanine, you are trying to do do much with too little. Get the sqads up to full strength so they pack a punch.
So I definitly agree on the fact that some units need to be maxed out and the only reason they are not is because of the DA's. I cut points to fit in their squad. I haven't used the list yet with them. The only reason they were added was for the reserves games. Starting the game with 3 units on the table is normally pretty good espessially when 2 of them cause pinning. Reserves missions were the only ones I had struggled with. But as far as being non-competetive, I have to disagree. I've only lost 1 game (necrons) in 2 RTT'S with lists very similiar to this. But u seem to be a very competent player so I will definitly try what you've suggested no questions asked. I'll post my results sometime later today or tommorow
