Welcome to Librarium Online!
I have been developing the following eldar list, raiders-theme.
- 4 * 5 pathfinders - 480 pts
- 7 Scorps plus Exarch, Scorp Claw and shadowstrike - 175 pts
- 7 Banshees plus exarch, executioner and both powers - 160 pts
- 2*2 vypers with 2 shuriken cannon each - 240 pts
- 3 Warwalkers with 2 Scatter laser each - 180 pts
- Wave serpent with TL Starcannon, vectored engines and spirit stones - 155 pts
- 1 Farseer with singing spear and doom - 83 pts
TOTAL = 1473 pts
The bulk of this force will be pathfinders, vypers and warwalkers. Obviously, i didnt forget CC so i managed to include Scorpions and banshees, both with defensive roles: Scorpions can be deployed on the DZone or somewhere in the battlefield (due to shadowstrike). Banshees will be deployed in the DZone and/or will be inside the WS to support rangers or any other troop whenever and wherever necessary. The farseer will act as a support to banshees (low S)
I still have left 27 pts to upgrade my farseer with another power, which can be a 30 pts power if i choose to switch the singing spear for a witchblade.
All critics are welcomed
I'm thinking it's shredded, honestly.
The 4 squads of pathfinders are unlikely to find enough cover far enough to avoid close combat; The warwalkers and Vypers are vulnerable to most infantry weapons, and very vulnerable to every support weapon (A Marine Devastator squad with say, 3 HB and 2 Missiles will average what, 1.22 glance and 1.89 pens against either). Your only resilient unit is the scopions - without fortune to make them a serious headache.
Not only that, but any tank with an armor value higher than 12 only needs to avoid the Farseer - which means that they will also be the #1 target for any force which brings a tank which will be invulnerable if they can kill those 2 units. At the least, upgrade the Starcannon on the Wave serpent to a bright lance.
at 1500 points, you can spend on the high point high survivability units... Falcons, fire prisms, DA w/ shimmer shield backed up by a fortune farseer. Even dropping the Wave Serpent and putting in a single falcon with a starcannon would help the list immensely. Being able to get two in would be deadly indeed.

ok here he does have a point, depends where you play but you may struggle to find enough terrain, and more importantly 5 pathfinders = 4 hits, 2 wounds = about 1 dead tactical marine per turn, you have 4 squads (almost 500 points) and will manage to kill 4-6 marines per turn, just ineffficient, they are better against other targets (and worse against some too) but 20 of them is a waste- 4 * 5 pathfinders - 480 ptsat 1500 points this needs to be a full squad and stalker would also be usefull- 7 Scorps plus Exarch, Scorp Claw and shadowstrike - 175 ptsthey will get shot to shreds, they need a transport and should also be a full squad- 7 Banshees plus exarch, executioner and both powers - 160 ptscheap and effective, I would still drop one to pay for stuff above then split the 3 into 3 seperate squads- 2*2 vypers with 2 shuriken cannon each - 240 ptsfine, would actually look to guide these. they will outrange most small arms, they are a good choice- 3 Warwalkers with 2 Scatter laser each - 180 ptshmm ok for the banshees? it is a dedicaated transport, you must clarify who it belongs to, if so fine, then banshee coments shoudl read "need to be a full squad"- Wave serpent with TL Starcannon, vectored engines and spirit stones - 155 pts
however this then raises the concern that you have 1 tank, all that AT yoru opponent has in 1500 points only has one target, that is a short lessonas above, would look for guide- 1 Farseer with singing spear and doom - 83 pts
WizWoms point on your AT is good though, you have a serious lack of anything to take out heavy armour
Everything you have been told is a lie!
