My strategy for this would be to rush the oppenet with my 72 gaunts, being led by my hive tyrant who will secure cc with a unit so that the guants can soon follow into cc. The genestealers will focus on the tougher targets while the cc warriors leap into cc. They will all be supported by the shooty carnifexes and the shooty tyranid brood, covering snyapse for the back. My vehicle killers will be the carnifexes, the shooty tyranid brood, and the hive tyrant since he is a montrous creature and gets the 2d6 roll + Strength for not adjusting his strength. Any commenst in the tactics of my army and my army itself will be appreciated and listened to8Y.
well for a swarm army you got it covered...
consider winging your warriors, you have so many gaunts 12" of synapse will not cover them all...
also, some raveners or gargoyles could have a part in your army. as with a broodlord...
also, dont worrry, the toxin sacs are NOT a modifier, they just replace the strength with a new strength, so you can add those on your tyrant if you want.
twinlink your deathspitters on your warriors.
also, 3 warriors will not last long in a 1500 game. You need to add some more. Otherwise, they'll be a waste of points.
For more versitilaty split the squads of spinguants into squads of 12, also consider getting rid of one of the more expensive carnifex and geting two cheaper close combat carnifexs, secondly i really rate raverners and mabye exchange a squad a genastealres for a squad.
Do not change the carnifexes, they are a lot more likely to do more damage than a CC fex. A CC fex is way to slow to really do anything. If they wanted to, they'd shoot it a little, then get there elites over there and get an easy kill. It goes last and assuming the elites have power weapons (or something of the sort) and probably around 3+ attacks, it dies.
I'd change the termagaunts into spinegaunts. I really dont see the point in running two differen types of broods. The only possible use i can see is if you had ur spinegaunts in front of your termies, forcing them to shoot at the spinies. Then your termies will get those puny shots at the enemy, which in fact, aren't that much more effective than spinefists.
You severly lack synapse support. Either run more warriors (i'd say a dakka brood since there pretty cheap and are effiecient) or 2-3 zoanthropes. Give them synapse and either warpblast or psychic scream. Another hive tyrant, preferably a dakka tyrant, would do awesome as well. (BTW if you didnt know, dakka=TL devos):C
If you want to use a CC warrior brood, larger numbers are alot more effective. Maybe run 4-5.

I think it is a good idea to replace one of my genestealer broods with raveners, i'll see if I can do that. As for the lack of snyapse, I'll try to rearrange the points so that I can have at least 4 TW in each brood. If I have any points left, i'll put back the toxin sacs on the tyrant, it will make him much more effective. Also with raveners, they can help my swarming guants to take out infantry much more easily. How do you think I can add more TW, i think i'll have to take out some biomorphs, but is there more ways in which won't effect my army as much?
Wait! I got a SUPER IDEA (For once in my life). Maybe get a lictor or two. Then, when your gaunts assault, assault with the Lictor. It will transfer the Preferred Enemy to any unit within 3". So now all your gaunts they hit on 3+. So thats a lot more hits.
