Wow... I know apoc armies are big, but that's just... just... wow. I can't even imagine how long it took/will take you to paint all that!

I'm just trying to imagine more than 100 metal warriors on one battlefield. Way kewl! I like that you've mixed up the unit types. If you built an army this size featuring 300 warriors I would have been very disappointed. Only thing I'd suggest is maybe another C'Tan, because you can. (heh)
Mickey: "You're just making this up as you go along!"
The Doctor: "Yuuuup. But I do it brilliantly!"

Check out my WIP thread here (Clicky!)

The rules (Clicky!) Read 'em, know 'em, love 'em.

    Peace, through superior firepower.

I reckon you should use the Deceiver instead of the Nightbringer as his abilities tend to work better in conjunction with Pariahs - 7 Leadership + Dread + Deceive = Fun times...for you that is .

Perhaps drop a squad of Destroyers for 3 more Wraiths. I'm pretty sure 3 Wraiths and a Destroyer will get chopped up real quick in an Apocalypse game. Also, drop the Warscythe as the standard Staff of Light is good enough and drop Nightmare Shroud for Resurrection Orb. Stick Nightmare Shroud onto a Foot Lord that'll stand near the Deceiver and Pariahs.

With the left over points, you can put 1 more Scarab Swarm into each squad.

Otherwise, total respect for you when you finish building and painting all 116 necrons.

Only 10 Immortals?? This unit deserves more credit, than people just always sticking them with the vod combo.

Agreed. I never use the VoD, but Imms always have a place in my list (Although thats mainly due to the fact i dont have enough models to go all out combat at above 1K, which i am now considering doing...)

This may depend upon the terrain and scenario, but would'nt it be more effective to place all those warriors into more concentrated groups say 15 or 20 per unit?

A quick note on painting these bad boys, I am currently working on 84 Warriors and 15 Destroyers. Model Master Aluminum Metalizer Paint, its says aribrush only, but you can brush it on. This stuff is super thin, high in pigment and will cover a warrior in a couple quick brush strokes, and it drys in seconds. Add a wash of 50/50 brown and black ink and you have a nice tabletop Cron. You can always go back and add embelishments later. If you use model master metalizer just keep in mind thats its enamel based. Anyway sorry I went Off topic. I just really like that paint.
