    My 1500 Eldar Army

Hey Everyone, I have been playing 40K for a few years now, mostly as Chaos and somewhat Tau. I just started playing Eldar and am currently refining my first 1500 point list. Typically I play against SM, WH, or nids, though id like to make the army playable against any force.

Any suggestions you have pertaining to my list would be very helpful. Also notice that putting Harlies in the army is not a option for me. I know they are great units and all, but I could never effectively paint them to standard and I just couldn't live with that. Anything else is fair game. Thanks!

    HQ
Farseer - singing spear, runes of warding, spirit stones, doom, and guide
    -138

    Troops
    10 Dire Avengers w/ Exarch - Power weapon & S. Shield, Bladestorm
Wave Serpent - Starcannon, Shuriken Cannon, Spirit Stones
    -282

3 Jetbikes w/ Warlock - Shuriken Cannon, Embolden, Singing Spear
    -129

    Elites
    8 Howling Banshees w/ Exarch - Executioner
Wave Serpent - Star Cannon, Shuriken Cannon, Spirit Stones, Vectored Engines
    -315

    Fast Attack
Vyper - Shuriken Cannon, Scatter Laser
    -70

    Heavy Support
Wraithlord - Dual Flamers, Bright Lance, Missile Launcher

3 War Walkers - Scatter Laser, Star Cannon

Ideally the bikes and vypers would travel in a pack picking off squads. The bikes doubling as AT if needed. The Wave Serpents fly up and unload near the enemy, the Dire Avengers get in a Bladestorm volley before the Banshees charge. The Dire Avengers can also assault, if needed or if there are alot of things able to shoot them dead. The Farseer stands with the War Walkers, guiding them, and making it so the Wraithlord doesn't get stupid on me. Also I would try and get that group within 24 inches of whatever the Banshees are fighting to assist with Doom.

Thats it, let the comments commence...
    And thanks again.

it is pretty solid, I would consider the following (not absolutes)

Drop the stones and doom off the farseer
standardise the weapons on the walkers to scatter lasers
and use the seer to guide 24 shots per turn
use the spare points to top up the banshee squad
Everything you have been told is a lie!

Thanks for the replyCheredanine. I guess it would be tougher to keep the Farseer in range of the Banshees and stick with the Walkers and Wraithguard, good call.

So yeah I removed the stones and Doom from the Farseer, and made all the War Walkers standard with 2 Scatter Lasers. This gave me enough points to add in 2 more Howling Banshees and since I had 20 more points to spare, I gave Defend to the Dire Avengers and War Shout to the Banshees.

    Updated list:

This list is pretty solid. Can't think of any way I'd want to change it honestly.
