HI, I am thinking of adding a Night Bringer to my 1500pt army to bring him up to 1750, would this be considered cheese, I doubt my friends would care but if I were to take it to a tournament??
Well.... too put it simply the Nightbringer is'nt very good... get a Deciever and I say yeah it would make for a nice addition to your list.
Agree with the point on goING with Deceiver, but in 5th ed, if the 'Run' rule is imposed then they may both become very viable.
And taking a C'tan is not cheese, nor is a Monolith, nor any other Necron unit, at any pts limit, their huge pts costs make sure of that.
And if you're going to a tourney, id honestly say avoid a C'tan altogether. though Tourneys are the home of cheese, so grab yourself 3 Liths

Its not cheesy at all but most people dont consider the c'tan worth there points, or the increased risk of phasing out the army. They are tho lots of fun and great models.
