    1850 Mini-Nobz?

Another take on my standard - really looking forward to the conversion work this itteration allows (thinking of converting a Defiler into a Battlewagon..... somehow). Comments/criticisms are welcome and encouraged - this list is theoretical and (though I like the concept) it remains as of yet un-tested.

    Well...

Why are there armor plates on the trukks? A strong wind can kill a trukk. I'd invest the points in a ram instead (they get hung up on terrain far too often). Twin linked rokkit? I thought the upgrade was only for a single rokkit. I honestly never upgrade them. They die too easily when they're in line of sight of the enemy, and if you're not within line of sight, then you can't shoot them.

You can probably see this next point coming, but those units of nobz are far too small. Against monstrous creatures, super marines and high initiative enemies, your nobz will need more staying power, especially in the bike squads.

If you're going to run the bike squads that small, then the only thing they're really going to be good at is anti-armor, and in that case you might as well run them as normal warbikes with a nob w/powerklaw.

I'd go ahead and use them as nobz, but you'll need to make the nob units larger. There's a few things you can do:

    1. Cut out one of the teams of biker nobz and one of the warbosses. Use the 355 points to add four more biker nobz and another powerklaw to the remaining unit of nob bikers for 225, and use the remaining 125 to bring the nobz in the battlewagon up to 10.

    2. Cut out the 5 regular nobz and the battlewagon, and use those points to buy 3 more biker nobz and another powerklaw for each of the two units of biker nobz. This leaves you 35 points to spend as you like.

    3. Cut out two trukks and use the 304 points to add 4 regular nobz to the battlewagon and 2 biker nobz to each of the nob biker units.

Personally, I like the second option the best. 2 units of biker nobz with warbosses attached, 3 rokkit buggies and 4 trukks full of boyz is a very fearsome force.

The other options can also work, but they may leave you a little light in either anti-armor (option 1) or troops (option 3). It's up to you. Good luck!

Okay - I've totally re-worked this list, taking into account both your advice Grax and my recent brush with repetitive nonsense. Take a look - the basic idea is to create a sweeping flank anchored on one side - advice is always welcome and encouraged.

    -Cybork
    -PKlaw
    -ASquig

    Old Zogwort 145pts.

    8 Nobz 500pts.
    -2 PKlaws
    -Bikes
    -Painboy
    -Cybork
    -Waaagh! Banner
    -Bosspole

    15 Kommandoes 255pts.
    -2x Rokkits
    -Boss Snikrot

    3x 12 Boys 147each/441total
    -Nob
    -PKlaw
    -Bosspole
    -Trukk

    30 Boyz 250pts
    -Nob
    -PKlaw
    -Bosspole

    Sweet...

Now that is a really sweet list. I wouldn't change a thing, it looks great. Good luck!
