    My list revised a bit

Here is my new and improved list I think I am over a few points but this is pretty much the army.

I am trying to put more feet on the ground and i ahve to say that with 5th edition coming and what I ahve read in teh book stealth teams and pathfinders have some nice advantages. I will probably start including 2 full stealth squads or near to complete. i'm a huge fan of the burst cannon.

i'm looking to put more feet on teh ground so i think i will start buying and setting up more broadsides

I didn't bring my book but this list is near 1850 points. I know that numer seems a bit off but thats what the rouge traders around here run. gives you the oppertunity to really bring almost everything and the kitchen sink.

    5 pathfinders 2 sniper rifles
    1 devilfish

    Heavy support
broadside leader hardwired multi tracker Advanced Stabilisation System
    broadside #2 Advanced Stabilisation System

    Hammerhead gunship Rail head

    Hammerhead gunship Skyray
two burst cannons and a disruption pod multi tracker

I really wish I could play some 5th Edition and get a feel for how things will go. I want to try several variations. one thing I ahve noticed is no one expects the paranha on the board and they seem to get ignored. people get so worked up about the broad sides and heavys.

So for 4th edition rules what do you think?

Overall, your list seems pretty tight. I have a few suggestions, though:

Under 4th Ed given your Commander bodyguard status is generally looked down upon, principally because he loses his IC status. Instead you might want to consider running the 2 bodyguard as a separate XV8 Elites choice.

The leader of your TL Missile Pod Crisis Suit squad doesn't appear to have a third suit system.

Your Piranhas could do with targetting arrays to be worth the points investment.

The 2 railguns in the Pathfinders squad seem a little out of place.

I think you really need decoy launchers on your vehicles and not disruption pods, since your vehicles really ought to be moving to get the moving skimmers "glancing hits only" benefit.

These are mere tweaks, though. The best thing to do would be to fix these few small items and get on with playing your Army - it's really only then that you'll find out whether it actually suits you and your own particular style of play.
