Welcome to Librarium Online!
I was thinking of buying a blaster based army then buy on to it a CC based stuff so i feild both and i thought up this 2000 Point idea and i wondering how good it would be. Im also woried on how to convert my Destoryer Lord to the Wysiwyg Rule (What you see is what you get)
So how do i show Phase shifter and Warscythe on the lord?. How do you show Disruption Fields on scarabs?
Scything Ghosts Army
Necron Lord (180)
Warscythe (How do you Make this on the Destoryor Lord box?)
Phase shifter(Any Converting needed? to show this?)
10 Flayed Ones
10 Flayed Ones
10 Flayed Ones
Fast Attack (501)
8 Scarab Swarms
Heavy Support (235)
17 Phase Out(Scarabs i dont think count?)
Any Feed Back is Rather Welcome Please.
Advice will all be considered and thought about.
flayeds Infulltrate and 30 of them is alot in combat first turn charge and then the Destroyer lord with Wraiths first turn charge thanks to monolith
Scarabs Tie down Tanks that are transport based so they basically rip apart the tank allowing it not fire and also killing any dismarking models
Destoryors and Warroirs there for fire power and for other tank killing and troop blasting
Flayeds wil mainly tie up most of the heavy firing sqauds and the low combat ones
so what do you guys think ?
Cool. Dont worry about WYSIWYG. Apart from the Lords D.body, the rest can look however you like, or not at all really. Generally the WarScythe is the weapon you gte with the Dlord that is similar to the ones carried by the Pariahs.
Personally not a fan of Dfields on Scarabs, thats what you have guns for!
Also, another Wraith unit would be nice. In which case, lose the Destroyers, and a unit of Flayed ones to get a decent unit of Immortals in, as well as 3 more Wraiths.
Units of 10 FOs may be quite hard to iniltrate sometimes, look at how it goes and maybe consider shrinking the unit sizes a bit.
okay thanks for the help. Do i not Need Destroyers then ? as you said drop them.?
i just want something to Tie Up Transports. so when i watched a necron battle today i saw 10 Scarabs tie up a land raider for 2 whole turns before it got destroyed by 20 shots of Gauss blasters and before they fired the scarabs went to tie up another land raider i was like i love that idea for tieing up units that you cant destroy at that time until you can reeding them useless is more like my style as with tyranids im always fielding loads of Vemon cannons so i can Crew Stunned/Shaken for nearly all Tanks for like 4 odd turns ^_^.
So i tested out this idea with my cousins Necrons and it work wonders i beat 2000Pts Imperial guard army with 20 Scarabs Tieing up nearly every tank and making them useless for most of the game which made me win ^_^ as i only lost 7 Warriors 2 Scarabs , 1 Destoyer and 1 wound of my lord. ^_^ that was a fun match
so i decided to get my own necron army and i would field it for 2 lists one blaster one CC
So any ideas on wether or not i need the destroyers and i want the scarabs.

Not quite sure what the players are doing, but tanks cannot be ''held'' in combat. You can attack them, but they don't get held like other units, and are free to move, shot etc in their turn.
With Immortals in, you should be ok to drop the Destroyers so you can get a better combat base.

well okay it was that when they attacked the 3 glacing and always got crew stunned
its just you can get a alot of crew stunned and crew shaken
Ahh i see, fair enough. Still, the guns do that job, Scarabs are great for pinning units that are a threat to your infantry. Devastator squats for example.
