6 striking scorpions 143
exarch with scorpion claw
415 is the total
i need some help with what to get next, any help is greatly appreciated thanks
my main enemies are tyranids and chaos
120 pts. 5 man pathfinder squad
their sniper rifles are awesome shots.
this is a for sure unit for eldar.

tyranids and chaos are on exact opposite ends of the spectrum so I would recomment making your list well balanced.
Avengers are a fabulous troop choice but could really use bladestorm and might need a transport against either of these opponents to be able to get in and do enough damage before getting over run... this is a significant chunk of points but it has always served me well. For lower point matches the setup you have is fine but bladestorm would help.
Striking scorpions are good but wont do much against chaos. Banshees are better against chaos but get overrun by nids... I would try and help more but it would take much more time than I have at the moment so I suggest to you this, play test different units in different combinations against both your chosen enemies and see what you come up with.
To start you off with a fun unit, try fire dragons with an exarch and dragon's breath flamer. This squad is well rounded and can take out many different targets. Have fun

you need another troop choice first of all, don't give your farseer two powers without spirit stones. If you're playing chaos take banshees instead of scorpions, take a squad of guardians with a BL as your other troops for anti-tank.
what if I scratched out the scorpions and took some harlies for close combat. What I was thinking was to have one unit with good firepower (DA), and one with good cc (SS) the for them to be helped out by my farseer with those rerolls.

Spambot kill tally. . .337
From what i have heard is that howling banshees are good for fighting heavy infantry like terminators for example. If you use striking scorpions it would be because you are fighting against hordes and such. Oh and this is eldar not dark eldar were talking about.
