I'm a little worried that your 2 teams of fire warriors will get left behind by all the other troops with transports and jetpacks and such. Maybe put some thing in to hang back and hlep to form/support them as a second wave.

Well, the broadsides could provide good cover for the advance of your fire warriors. I suppose it could be as simple as having one of the crisis teams hang around with them. Either that, or it could be a good idea to get them some devilfish so they can keep up.

i suggest u get advanced stabilization systems for the broadsides instead of TA. they allow u to Move and Fire the railguns in the same turn. besides your guns are twinlinked. you can easily reroll a 4+

How can you not take kroot? they're my favorate part of the Tau listno kroot no vespid, you do know the codex is called Tau Empire, also lots of fire warriors are the way to play (i think so anyway) you get a basic trooper with a gun that has S5. then with no kroot these guys are going to have to capture objectives for you, you have one troops unit per objective if that's putting all your eggs in two baskets for 2/3 of the games you'll play.

At 2k points you should have at least 3 full FW squads. You could use the pathfinder's devilfishes for two of those squads and purchase another for the third, I think that's the main obvious change I'd make.
