I'm new to necrons but i'm not new to warhammer and have been playing for quite a bit
My first list which will only be used for fun games, nothing competitive-
HQ (500 points)-
necron lord (res orb)
TROOPS (684 points)-
FAST ATTACK (123 points)-
HEAVY SUPPORT (195 points)-
3 heavy destroyers
total points: 1502
The nightbringer will go around with the wraiths and have some fun in CC.
The heavy destroyers will go and destroy anything heavy.
The lord stays with the troops.
Keeping the NB with the Wraiths is a bad idea, he is far too slow for them. Let them fight Individually. Drop the Warriors down to units of 10 or 12. Not sure the Lord is vital, but to start with the ResOrb may be handy so stick with if you like. You may want to look at some Scarabs and Destroyers to fill your Fast Attack slots. Finally, split the Heavy Des. into 3 units (if not already)
Considering that the Night Bringer can now take a leisurely jog, can he not keep up with Wraiths a little better?
Wraiths (if memory serves correctly) aren't that bad at surviving in za combat... so will they be able to hold on until old man lady death gets there?

Personally I think a 1500 list is too small for a C'Tan. He won't be able to keep up with the wraiths and all those points could be better spent elsewhere.
I would trade him in and use all those points on either a squad of Immortals and some regular destroyers, or a unit of Flayed Ones and maybe another Lord with Warscythe, Gaze of Flame and Res. Orb.
Alternatively you could use a 2nd Lord with Destroyer Body, Warscythe and Res. Orb, fly him around with your Wraiths to support them in cc. Use the remaining points to up your Wraith squad count or add some Scarabs to hold down enemy units.
