ok guys. I finally put together a 2000 point list. This will be a good focusing point as i finish building my army, after i get the models i have painted. The general focus of this list is a represenation of my craftworld at war. Its got a little bit of everything, and its not a focused list either. My craftworld is Craftworld Kaelor. Its the only officially named craftworld in the codex, that was given an army symbol but no official color scheme. SO i figured i would take the opportunity to use the name/icon and give it my own colors. I felt that craftworld kaelor would be just a typical craftworld. They aren't zealous about the aspect warriors like beltain, so psycher and black guardian oriented like ulthwe, not jetbike maniacs like samhain or pathfinder loving eldar like alitoc. They make use of everything at there disposal.
So heres the new Redux list. No points listed other than the armies total comes up to 2000 points exact.
*Farseer, Singing Spear, Spirit stones, Runes of witnessing, Guide, Fortune.
*Banshees, x10, exarch with mirror swords and warshout, mounted in a wave serpent with spirit stones and twin linked starcannons.
*Fire Dragons, x8, exarch with fire pike, mounted in a wave serpent with spirit stones and twin linked missle launchers
*Guardians, x10, missle launcher, Warlock with conceal, pistol and witchblade
*Dire Avengers, x10, Exarch with bladestorm and twin avenger catapults
*Guardians, x10, Scatter Laser, + Warlock with witchblade and conceal
*Vyper with starcannons
*vyper with scatter laser and shuriken catapult
*Swooping Hawks ,x6, exarch with sunrifle, skyleap and intercept
*WraithLord, Brightlance, Missle Launcher, and flamers.
Ok, i redid the list, the old list is now removed. The list above is the redux list.
First off, thanks to the advice. It was duly noted and thus i changed my list. Before i get some critism, this list first and formost is first built using the models i currently have and own. This is a 2000 points force, that is designed to use what i have, and for me to build up to. Also, i want the list to be a balanced list, decent against most all opponents. So i am trying to include a mix of anti troop weaponry as well as anti tank weaponry.
So i went about taking the advice, and looking over each unit entry. Trying to build a useful, fun, and not to so called Cheesy army list. I was taking into account that i really wanted 4 troop units, due to the new 5th edition rules and how troops play against objectives. In the list, the models that i already have are the farseer, banshees, fire dragons, one wave serpent with starcannons, a wraithlord, and 2 units of guardians and one vyper. This is the reason i have 8 dragons, the wraithlord with brightlance, the guardians with the weapon platforms and there warlocks, and the wargear options on the exarchs. Its also why i have a star cannon on one vyper, i already have it modeled that way, so it stays.
Everything else in the list is stuff i have to buy. Now...some reasons why i took a few units. I wanted to inlude dark reapers, but i got to thinking.....they are just to darn expensive. They are really nice, but i felt two prisms for around the same points will be much more vesatile and interesting. Also i started ending up with more and more aspect warriors, and decided, fluff wise, i was including to many aspects into my army. I didn't want to look like a beltain list. I definitly took the pathfinder upgrade to heart. Got to thinking..how are they to be annoying, then i realized, the upgrade wasn't just for the cover save improvement, but for the AP1 sniper rifles. SO thanks for the input there guys.
As for the fire dragon exarch..hes staying cause i have him modeled, he has a firepike, sure its extra points, but i also play for fun and fluff, and he just looks so dang cool. Plus..he has the 2d6 for penetration at 9 inches instead of just 6, so that might come in hand when he piles out of a vehicle. As for the swooping hawks. I decided to take them, as they add some speed, they can hurt some tanks, and even other skimmers. Also they put out 2 decent range shots a model so they pump out some firepower against troops. Also there grenade pack makes for some fun games. I upgraded for the sunrifle simply to add more shots to the unit and a chance of pinning.
So guys, let me know what you guys think of the new list. I am a bit long winder. I am also gonna just give this thread a bump post too.

Good solid list, and i agree about having a good troop killing army. You should be good for tank killing as long as you have a plan on how to get the fire dragons to the front line. Also if you make good use of the wraithlord and bright lance you will do good.
But it all depends on how many tanks you will be facing. I try to make my army better at killing heavy infantry and tanks because i face tons of them, it all depends.
Nice list a few suggestions though. The exarch truly does not need the fire pike the range increase isnt significant, and im pretty sure you dont need as many dragons (for me 6 is the magic number but thats because i put them in my falcon). If you dont have a transport for them then i truly suggest replacing them with something else. By the time you get them into range for whatever your attacking they will most likely whittled down, and a opponent who notices what they are can easily move the units away just as fast as the dragons are moving towards them.Fire Dragons, x8, exarch with fire pikeUnless you personally like the mirror swords I would suggest giving her an executioner.Banshees, x10, exarch with mirror swordsYes, i know your low on pts but I think if you lower the Dragons by 2 people that will give you enough to upgrade these guys to pathfinders. These makes them even harder to kill and they can quickly become a thorn in the enemies side if left alone.Rangers, x5Ok for this low amount of jetbikes(and your lack of anti-tank) I would suggest chaning destructor into conceal and the witchblade into a spear turning this unit into a tank hunting squad.Jetbikes, x3, shuriken catapult on one bike, + Warlock on jetbike with witchblade and destructorSplit them up so you have 2 squads of 1. I would suggest replacing the cannons with scatterlasers, yes you lose the ability to ignore SM saves, but you trade it for more shots, and when you arn't going against Marines the extra shots will help.Vyper Squadron, x2, both with starcannonsReplace fast shot with crack shot so that you can ignore any cover save.Dark Reapers, x5, exarch with fast shot and missle launcher
With these changes you should still stay under 2000pts.

thanks for the advice, edited the initial post with a new list. Change some things, gave a few reasons. So this post is more of a bump and to say..hey the list is different.
Also as to reply to cheese army.
*The fire dragon exarch and unit of 8 is because i have the models and plan to use what i got. I will give them a transport instead, so they get to there intended targets.
*The mirror sword is the same. I have it modeled that way. I also like the extra attacks. ALso my executioner in the pack was severely bent, so i just ended up modeling it that way. Again its more for the look.
*Took the pathfinders to heart. Definitly gonna pay the points, as they are definitly worth it. They will also be fun, unless i am dealing with sternguard vets, then i will be scared a little.
*decided against the jetbikes. Reason number 1, the models are just to pricy for such an old and cruddy model. Reason Number 2, wasn't sure how to go with them really. The warlock is a nice addition, but typically to expensive for the bikes no matter what option i go with. Also to make it a tank hunting squad seems redundant since the bikes really are more anti infantry to start. Might as well take the aspect bikers for that.
*Nice tip about the vyper. Since i got one already with a starcannon, i opted for your advice, and took a second with scatter lasers. I like the anti infantry effect, and you would be surprised really how much more effective scatter lasers are against marines, especially when in numbers. I took a shuriken catapult on the scatterlase one as i had just 10 points left. I figured if i only move 6 with it one turn, i could really hurt some infantry in one turn.
*my only problem with crackshot, is it really seems useless on a missle launcher. On top of that only the exarch benefits, so it seems kinda a waste. I opted for the missle launcher mostly to give the dark reapers some aniti tank capability incase i needed it. With fast shot it gives him two shots with krak missles, so he effectivily just has a stronger reaper with the option to throw out a few blasts. But since i decided to drop them for now, maybe later on i will get some reapers and try them out with crackshot when i field them.
