I've been wanting to do this list for a long time, and now with running I can. I know most people say that CC Carnifexes have too few attacks to be effective, but I'm catching A LOT of flack for playing this list. Everybody is whining about how cheesy it is. If it truely is cheesy, I don't want to play it, but I really don't think it is. So PLEASE comment on how cheesy you think it is.
1) Basic Dakka Flyrant with Bio-plasma (for tank hunting): 204
2) Hive Tyrant, ES, EC, FH, TS, 2 Scything talons: 142
Carnifex, AG(ws), TM, 2 scything talons: 113
Carnifex, AG (ws + i), BE, EC, RC, Mace Tail, TM, Tusked, 2 scything talons: 194
Genestealers-8, FT, Scuttlers. 160
I'm playing around with taking out the second Hive Tyrant to add another squad of 7 Genestealers, but a lot of people cry more 'cheese' at the Flanking GS, then they do the MC's. I've lost with the list 3 times, 2 times to ultra-cheesy lists, and 1 to a really balanced Eldar list. I've won 8 or 9 games.
Honestly, I think its pretty cool, except I feel you just don't have enough scoring units to play a viable 5th ed game.
I'd play you though (my Dark Eldar have a habit of eating MCs alive)
He might not have enough scoring units but he could utterly wreck an unprepared player's scoring units.

Also, I think genestealers only really work well as flankers. They are too expensive and die to easily, even with a 4+ cover save, when you cant hide them out of LOS.
Nah, not cheesy. Probably unexpected for your opponents but we've all been in that situation before. It's always easier to cry about getting beat than figure out how to win the next time.
