    1500 pt RTT List

Going to be playing in a 1500 pt RTT this weekend so composition counts.

    Avatar - 155

    10 Guardians w/ Scatter Laser, Warlock w/ embolden – 125
    10 Guardians w/ Scatter Laser, Warlock w/ embolden – 125
    3 Jetbikes; cannon – 76
    6 Pathfinders - 144

    8 Fire Dragons - 128
    1 Waveserpent; EML, SS - 130
    10 Striking Scorpions; Exarch w/ chainsabres - 177
    1 Waveserpent; EML, SS - 130

    1 Wraithlord; EML, BL - 155
    1 Wraithlord; EML, BL - 155

    Total: 1500

I like the army, but at the same time I have to realize that it's very fragile. Was thinking of substituting the Scorpions for Banshees, or Harlequins on foot. Also not sure whether I should stick with embolden on the guardians, or go back to conceal.

    Spearhead:
    Avatar
    2 Wraithlords
    2 Guardian Squads
Head towards enemy objectives, wreak havoc, etc...
    Mobile Spearhead:
    Fire Dragon squad
    Striking Scorpion squad
    Jetbikes
Fire Dragons and Scorpions provide a means to eliminate key enemy units (troops and mech). Jetbikes snipe for the game, and hopefully steal objectives towards the end. Waveserpents can depart and pick up Guardian units to make late game objective steals as well.
    Static Firepower:
    Pathfinders
Pathfinders will be objective holders and static shooters. Scorpions will head over to provide counter assault when necessary.

It seems to me like replacing the scorpions with banshees or harlequins will make the list more fragile.

    Just my oppinion.

    Otherwise, good.

if youre using the guardians for their scatter lasers, why not take 3 scatter laser war walkers for 180 and then use the extra points to buy another jetbike squad?

Because his army comp counts towards his total score, and lowering the points and units in troops and having maxed heavy support will cost him some points methinks.

My vote goes to conceal, I assume guardians will be your primary objective holding units, with the small jetbike squad rushing to grab an objective on the last turn. So the small cover save buff might be a better idea just to keep them alive longer.
