So the idea is that the wraiths create the main line, hopefully attracting the enemies close combat troops and main body of the army. The avatar is nearby to jump in to help when this the enemy get near. The warpspiders along with the autarch (warpspider phoenix lord themed and modeled) will perform a surprise attack if you may and either jump infront of or behind the enemy, give them a blast and charge in, hopefully withdrawing later on. Will probably be the same set up defencely and offensively.
The rest of the army will probably hold objectives. 1 Troop choice along with a prism.
Autarch w/ jump pack, deathspinner, power weapon, mandiblasters
9 Dire Avengers inc Exarch w/ diresword, bladestorm
10 Eldar Guardians w/ scatter laser
10 Wraithguard w/ spiritseer (conceal)
8 Warpspiders inc exarch w/ powerblades and additional deathspinner, withdraw
Wraithlord w/ bright lance & sword
I would drop the autarch. He is pricy and boosts the warp spiders but not by enough. You could drop him for a second unit of warp spiders (say 2 units of six)
Quorn! - Protein for the Protein God.
He needs an HQ choice though, so i don't see how losing the Autarch would let him take another unit of spiders.
"What do Humans know of our pain? We have sung songs of lament since before your ancestors crawled on their bellies from the sea."
- Farseer Eldrad Ulthran of Craftworld Ulthwe
Needs an HQ choice? What? There's an Avatar in there.
I was under the impression that you could not take a spiritseer without a farseer?
Incorrect. A Spiritseer is just a Warlock trained to direct the ancestor spirits, he doesn't need anyone to help him do that.
I don't like taking guardians without a warlock or farseer to back them up especially in such low numbers they will be killed or dropped below half quickly. A more experienced general will take them out rather than just pouring all of his fire into your tougher units like WG and WL Maybe replace them with some rangers. They would be able to cause pinning checks and take out anything that might threaten your lines like Mon. Creatures ect. something that would kill the avatar at range, whatever it might be. They also get that nice cover save, you can take 5 for exactly the same amount of points.
