    1,500pt Competitive/Friendly

Well since it seems that my other list got deleted...

    1,500pts

    Shadowsun: 175

    Stealthsuits x 6: 180

    Crisis Suits x 3: 181
    plasma rifle, fusion blaster, multitracker
    plasma rifle, CIB, multitracker
    fusion blaster, missile pod, multitracker

    Fire Warriors 2 x 8: 160
    pulse carbines

    Fire Warriors x 8: 80
    pulse rifles

    Kroot x 10: 70

    Pathfinders x 7: 129
    x 3 rail rifles, Shas'ui, bonding knfie
    Devilfish x 1: 105
disruption pods, x 2 seeker missiles

    Piranha x 1: 80
    x 2 seeker missiles

    Broadside x 2: 195
A.S.S., team leader, hw drone controller, x 2 shield drones

    Skyray: 145
burst cannons, disruption pod, targeting array

With the list like this and with so many seeker missiles my pathfinders are sorta crucial. My devilfish and piranha will start behind terrain to survive until their seeker missiles are fired off. The sky ray has been enhanced enough that he can at least get off the markerlight shots to fire his missiles.

If your ML/Seekers are so crucial to you why don't you reorganize your stealths and/or one FW squad to include a TL and a ML?
That way you increase your changes on a succesful ML on a crucial target.

I also don't like your crisis team, it looks like it does try to do everything. A cib and pr's on BS3 suits might be wasting precious points for instance.
Why not cut it up a bit (you have an elite slot left) and get two teamleaders for ta's? You could drop a stealth to pay for the added costs.

    My 2 cents

    Something different, why not!!

    Stealthsuits x 6: 180

Just the way I like em'

    Crisis Suits x 3: 181
    plasma rifle, fusion blaster, multitracker
    plasma rifle, CIB, multitracker
    fusion blaster, missile pod, multitracker

This unit confuses me quite a bit. You have a whole lot of stuff going on in there. First off, isn't the CIB "special issue" meaning you would have to pay for an upgrade on the XV8 before you could take it. Second, the unit is very mixed bag. What you gain in versatility, you lose in focus. When you are shooting at a big monster tank with the fusion and the MP, you are wasting the shots of the PR and CIB (yes I know the CIB deal, but thats all just chance).
I would split the unit in two and give "like weapons" to your unit of two crisis.

    Fire Warriors 2 x 8: 160
    pulse carbines

Interesting choice here as well. Why the carbines, they are generally frowned upon as the weapon of choice. Pinning only happens rarely and the ability to kill people, especially in rapid fire range goes way down. Go for rifles, gain the extra range and rapid fire ability and kick some but.

    Fire Warriors x 8: 80
    pulse rifles

This is how I like em, though I like full strength units

    Kroot x 10: 70

    Pathfinders x 7: 129
    x 3 rail rifles, Shas'ui, bonding knfie
    Devilfish x 1: 105
disruption pods, x 2 seeker missiles

The railrifles are a bit of a waste here, on average you will hit only get 3 kills every two turns with these guys. More markerlights equal better.

Hope that gave you some stuff to think about.

Your right on that, forgot that I needed the upgraded model for the CIB, as a result, here is a revised list:

    1,500pts

    Shadowsun: 175

    Stealthsuits x 6: 180

    Crisis Suits x 2: 108
    missile pod, fusion blaster, multitracker
    missile pod, fusion blaster, multitracker

    Crisis Suits x 2: 141
    plasma rifle, burst cannon, multitracker
    CIB, burst cannon, multitracker, Shas'vre,
hw drone controller, x 2 gun drones

    Fire Warriors 2 x 8: 160
    pulse rifles

    Fire Warriors x 8: 80
    pulse carbines

    Kroot x 10: 70

    Devilfish: 105
disruption pods, x 2 seeker missiles

    Pathfinders x 7: 114
    x 3 rail rifles
    Devilfish x 1: 105
disruption pods, x 2 seeker missiles

    Broadside x 1: 115
A.S.S., team leader, hw drone controller, x 2 shield drones

    Skyray: 145
burst cannons, disruption pod, targeting array

One unit of crisis suits for hunting tanks, one for hunting high T models and troops. Fire Warriors with pulse carbines are going to be the guys that move around the most next to models with jump packs, etc. Devilfish give transport to whomever needs it. Enough seeker missiles to blast a lot of models to dust. 3 dead models from rail rifle shots every two turns is the same as pulse carbines shooting except maybe a little better. Dropped one broadside to get another devilfish.

Hey Pathofskulls, let me give you some help on your list.

Never used shadowsun, so not quite sure how effective she is. At first glance she seems really good, great leadership support, shes protected from ranged, and can bust tanks up easily enough, providing she can get in range.

Excellent, exactly how they should be.

Im not too sure about this. One long range gun, one short range gun, it doesnt look to be very effective.

Call me crazy but I like this squad however. The amount of shots this squad can unleash is great. Although I tend to stick with the typical fireknives and deathrains, I might just give this one a go!

Troops like ok, maybe find the points to give them bonding knives, if they are going to be mostly static. They will be wiped out easy enough, maybe try filling out the squads to have larger numbers.

I know alot of people dont like rail rifles, but I love them. When they hit, they hurt! But in the case of your list, I think you would benefit more from the pathfinders having markerlights. With the amount of seeker missiles you have, the more markerlights you can get off, means the more missiles you will have flying through the sky.

Perhaps find the points so the skyray can get a multitracker. Being able to move 12 and fire them could give you a bit more of an edge on your opponent.

Overall your list looks good. I really think you lack decent anti tank. Your relying on your one broadside, your crisis suits getting close enough to use the fusion blasters, and a handful of one shot missiles. I would drop the crisis squad with missile/fusion for another broadside.

Hope I gave you something to think about.

But every time you shoot a rail rifle you shoot one less markerlight.
Pathfinders should rarely fire their carbines.

If you want to use rail rifles, best to have a 4 man squad that uses the snipers and the odd markerlight, and a dedicated markerlight team

Dropped the Anti-tank crisis suits, got bonding knives onto my fire warriors, increased the kroot squad size, dropped the skyray for a hammerhead. Does the hammerheads submunition shot scatter?

If my devilfish moves 12" and has the multitracker, it can fire the burst cannon, but can the drones shoot too?

    Pathfinders x 5: 90

    Broadside x 1: 115

2 Broadsides each with shield drones, 2 Suicide suits that will either d/strike, or just head for my opponents back lines. Plus 4 seeker missiles. 2 Pathfinder teams now, one mainly just for shooting those rail rifles, the other one for shooting off the seeker missiles. The pulse rifle squads will most likely get the fish.
