    1500p list

    Evening all.

Finally I' v found the time to convert my list to our new 5th ed rulebook. In addition, I believe it is about time. As I have been playing the same list for over a couple of years.

Here is what I've come up with.

Archon: agoniser, combat drugs, shadowfield, plasma grenades, closecombat weapon, terrorfex (not sure on that one)

Heamonculus: destructor, wwp (used to run two of these chaps, never failed me)

7 wyches: wych weapons, plamsa grenades, 1 blaster
1 succuus: agoniser, wych weapon, plasma grenades, trophy rack
    On raider: disintegrator, horrorfex

Raidersquad: 5 warriors, 1 dark lance
Raidersquad: 5 warriors, 1 dark lance

    9 gunboaters: 2 blasters, 2 splintercannons
    1 sybarite: terrorfex, wwp

    10 gunboaters: 2 blaster, 2 splintercannons

10 warriors: 2 dark lances (never proved me wrong in the past)

    10 warriors: 2 dark lances

Talos (I know, the new FAQ is quite ambigious)
    Talos

    Ravager: 3 disintegrators

    In total: 1499

    Thoughts:
I think about including a xenospasm instead of the terrorfexes.
Heamonculus starts with the second gunboat warriors for protection. The moment the wwp is dropped he'll be on his own.
Ravager, wyches and archon start in reserve.

Feel free to deconstruct. As long as it reasonable.

    Yours

Archon with 'fex? Surely the point of the 'fex is to give it to a close range nasty shooty squad who can then pin the enemy whilst poiring excessive amounts of firepower into them?

Give the xenospasm tyo a gunboat squad. Yummy.

Okay, I've made some changes. In addition I 've had my first encounter with the Eldar last thursday.

    I've dropped the terrorfexes.

Archon: agoniser, combat drugs, shadowfield, plasma grenades, closecombat weapon

    Heamonculus: destructor, wwp

7 wyches: wych weapons, plamsa grenades, 1 blaster
1 succuus: agoniser, wych weapon, plasma grenades, trophy rack
    On raider: disintegrator, horrorfex

Raidersquad: 5 warriors, 1 dark lance
Raidersquad: 5 warriors, 1 dark lance

    9 gunboaters: 2 blasters, 2 splintercannons
    1 sybarite: poisened blade, wwp

    9 gunboaters: 2 blaster, 2 splintercannons
    1 sybarite: xenospasm

    10 warriors: 2 dark lances

    10 warriors: 2 dark lances

    Talos
    Talos

    Ravager: 3 disintegrators

    In total: 1499

    How did I fare?
Well we played annihilation/dawn of war.
I started with the heamonculus, raidersquad and gunboat unit with wwp on the board.
My heamonculus did what he had to do. So my Archon, wyches and ravager could enter more deeply onto the battlefield. In addition, my wyches got 12 inch charge move:-)

I'm quite pleased with this list so far. Moreover, my opponent conceded in turn 5. I've only lost my heamie.

It may pay off to give the Xenospasm to the Haemonculus, especially if he's just chillin in a Raider popping shots. Strong list, though. Personally, I'm not a big fan of sniper squads, but I don't deny their effectiveness.

Congrats on the win as well!

Maybe you have a point, but aren't Heamonculi restricted to Heamie weapons only?

Or is the Xenospasm considerd wargear?

Also, the heamonculus is on his own. Which makes it much easier to hide him. But then again, that is still a left over from 4th ed. Maybe I'll have to change that tactic.

Thank you for the input and compliment.

Heamonculi have restrictions on weapons not wargear(except the usual 100 point thing) and sice xenospasm is wargear its perfectly legal.
