    noobie 1k army

    Hello fellow warbosses this is my first post so please pardon any mistakes

    Hq-war boss PK, TL shoota, eavy armour, cybork body, BP 110pts

    trps- 6 nobs eavy armour 150pts
    trukk red paint job armour plates, ram grot riggers 60pts
    20 slugga boyz 2 big shootas nob with PK BP 170pts

    20 slugga boyz same as above 170pts

    Fast attack 3 deffkoptas -rokkits 135pts

    3 bikes- nob PK 110pts

    total 925

    I still have 75 pts left so what should buy? Please tear this list so I can tear apart my enemies.

    add more boyz, you don't got enough. 3 Bikes AND 3 Koptas at that ow a points list is taxing enough on your boy count. add more boyz and do me a favor, fight smart with those fast attacks!! don't march them right up to someone to die. they are fast attacks and THEY should be chargin. pick your fights. pick on the weak and wounded, and hide behide cover if you can't get to a tasty target that turn. Bikes aren't exactly the best unit out there but they have a real bad reputation because most people simply throw them away. Sorry about the rant

    Hmm, I'd drop the deffkoptas and turn them into biker boyz. From what I've heard, deffkoptas aren't any good, and a three ork team of bikers will die easily.

    Example: 3 bikers vs IG autocannon team. 2 autocannon shots kills one boy (just). Your bikers just failed their 25% shooting casualty leadership test and ran off table.

    Now lets compare this to 6 bikers. Now 2 bikes have to be killed for them to break, and now they can regroup because they are above half strength. As an added bonus, you get more attacks, and better survivablity.

    For the Nobz Trukk, drop the armour plates, ram and grot riggaz. These all look good on paper, but remember, your Trukk has 10/10/10 armour. Bolters can hurt it, so anything better will tear it to shreads. Save yourself 15 odd points and get another slugga boy or biker!

    I would say drop the big shootas in your slugga boyz mobs. You want those boyz to be moving and assaulting, not staying still. However, I assume that the Big shootas are for when the boyz are holding an objective, so maybe you should keep them.

    With the points saved, you could upgrade the trukk to a looted wagon with skorcha or lots of big shootas etc.

    Not a bad first attempt, but with some small improvements this list could be made into a full scale WAAAAAAAAAGH!!!!!!

    EDIT: My avatar says that I'm a Guard player, but I also own a 1000pt ork speed freaks army. Always note that red wunz go fasta!!!!!!

    i've actually just uploaded your list onto my army builder program.

    Your Warboss has a BP, so i assume hes going into the Nob squad.

    Painboy- 50 points

    Add a PK to one of the Nobs- 25
    WAAAGH Banner to one of the Nobs-15

    That leaves you with 15 points left, which i recommend one of 2 things, either get rid of 10 points one the other squads for a 2second PK, or just give the Warboss a Attack Squig(another attack) and theres all your points. The Painboy will give your nobs (and the boss!) feel no pain, and the Banner will give your nobs(also the boss) another WS, making the nobs WS5 and the boss a awsome WS 6! giving him a edge against other characters greatly, a warboss with WS6 and FNP along with Cybork body isn't easly killed.
    Also one of the nobs with a PK means that the squad will be 8 strong, with 2 PKs, and a Urty Syringe. also it shouldn't be hard to convert one of teh nobs you have into getting a WAAAGH Banner and giving another(or the same one) a PK.

    Hmm, this list is better. Much better!

    Lets take a look at those nobs, shall we? I assume that the warboss will join the nobz mob, right? For an extra 20 points, give the mob a Waaagh! banner and bosspole. Trust me, you'll need the bosspole, and the +1WS from the banner will make your nobz almost unstoppable in CC. Also add bosspoles to your 2 mobs of boyz.

    In every Ork list, there is always something that your enemy WILL be afraid of, and consequently, shoot at first. The only thing that you have is your trukk with the warboss and Nobz. So, first turn, your trukk will die. I know of this because I field some big gunz, and they are the first things to die, as my opponents are scared of the grots BS 3. It allows my trukks to get my boyz to da enemy fasta, see, cos deys not shootin' at da trukkz!

    So, to deal with the problem I mentioned above, I have come up with three choices.

    Option 1. Try either some rokkit buggies or a looted wagon with skorcha or boomgun.
    Option 2. You could add a deff dread (extra CC killyness) or killa kans (Fire support that might actually hit something) to run along with your boyz.
    Option 3. If you have the money, you could buy some more bikers.

    Now the enemy should be shooting at everything else, allowing your boyz to get into close combat, and tear through their troops.

    you did the math wrong on the painboy, hes not 30 points, hes 20 points(for being a nob) PLUS 30 to upgrade to painboy, hes actually 50 points
