Ok, here's what I'm going to purchase/build unless anyone has some better suggestions. I'm new to nids, so please fire away!!

Keep genies in back to take/hold objectives, use hormies in cover w/flyrant and try to get lictor to pop near hormies for CC. Use zoes for anti-tank (with blastfex)and dropping pies on enemy Use spineys and waking tyrant to get the job done.

-Zoanthropes are a very strong choice and since they are always WYSIWYG you can play test every set-up without apprehension. You should definitely try 3 psychic scream and 3 warpblast. 3 pyschic scream can be amazing if used appropriately especially if you give you walking Tyrant psychic scream -4 to opponent Ld possible.
-While Genetealers and Hormagaunts are very nasty Close Combat units you might find yourself in trouble holding objectives. You should proxy some hormagaunts before making them to see if you like their style. You might find yourself light on numbers.

good job on you firts list! + rep for you! i do agree with Enjoi_Tyranids on giving the walking tyrant extended carapace insted of warp field and the hormies being way to expencive. that's 80pts of upgrades to 16 modles with a 6+ save and T3!!!! if you drop the biomorphs and 1 more hormi, you can buy 2 tyrant guard for your walking tyrant
with the geenstealers i do agree that scuttlers would be a good choice. or extended carapace too. never be afraid of giving them scything tallons, 8 stealers with tallons would get 24 atacks compared to 20 atacks from 10 stealers! i sujest dropping 2 stealers to give them carapace or scuttlers
Also, your really low on synapse controll. in a 1500pt game, 2 tyrants can be easily knocked out from shooting in 2 turns, with a large amount of firepower concintrated on them. it hapend to me once in a tourny! 2 dreadnoughts with lazcannons and krack missiles killed my flyrant in turn 1 and by turn 2 i'd lost my other tyrant with his guard! turn 3 ended in my 89 gaunts fleeing off the table and the game was over by turn 4! all i killed was a dreadought and 5 scouts! if you can find the points to give synapse to the zoanthropes, you'll have this problem nailed!!!

Some of your units are way too 'tooled up' like your hormies unit - knock down the upgrade and the lictor and buy some more synapse control in the form of warriors
