Welcome to Librarium Online!
Ok, so about a week ago I faced a Space Marines player who camped most of his units in a corner and completely outranged me with missile launchers. Fortunately, the game was a tie because it was objective based (the one where each person gets an objective in his or her base to hold) and we both had one. However, I want to be able to do better than that.
I'm looking for suggestions here. I have a pretty big Eldar force. I have a very large amount of guardians and 4 wave serpents. 3 Falcons, 2 Fire Prisms, 3 War Walkers...pretty much everything. However, I only have 15 Dire Avengers (I have two exarches though). I Might get more soon. I only have 10 eldar jetbikes and I have a farseer on jetbike too. No Autarch on jetbike but he is on WJJ.
I was thinking maybe a mobile Saim-Hann sort of army might work. However, I can't really outflank him because his whole army is bunched together in a corner. What do I do?
*EDIT*: Here is a points list I came up with. It uses Tikidude92's strategy of outranging with fire prisms to destroy the things that typically outrange me, like devastator squads. Then if he gets close to me I move up with my jetbikes and dire avengers.
2 x Farseer 320 pts
Runes of Witnessing, SS, Doom, Fortune, Guide
2 x 10-soul Dire Avengers (I am going to try to get more) 604 pts
Exarch w/ DC, BS
Wave Serpent w/ EML, VE, SS
9 x Guardian Jetbike 228 pts
2 x Fire Prism 320 pts
Holo-Fields, Spirit Stones
Total: 1,472 pts.
Is having two farseers too much? I just see it so that both wave serpents can get fortune and both fire prisms can get guide. That way I get two S 9 AP 2 small blasts that reroll scatter . Later the DA would get guide.

I would say fire prisms and Dark Reapers are your best bet. Prisms can take out large amounts of high toughness troops from a long long distance. Dark Reapers can do this doomed guided or both. Drop that template on the scouts or unload with a huge barrage of death. WW can help with certain load-outs. Focus on the units that can hurt you from range while you stay away from him using speed. If he breaks up his formation harass him with your speedier units aka vypers, spiders, and bikes.
Hope it helps,
Wow i'm gonna be honest. I was just thinking the same thing! I'm gonna edit a points list into my original post. Thanks.
