I dont really play at the GW store or paly in tournies. Mostly just play with friends ( Orks, Tau, Chaos marines, nids ) who let me swap some units around as Eldat are so specialised.
This is my 1500pt army list I use mostly against Ork/nids. Anything people see wrong with it? Tactics are explained under the selections.
2x Farseers with doom, fortune, stones
Each attached to an Avenger squad. Oviously they doom whatever the avengers shoot at and fortune them.
3x 10 man dire avenger squads with exarch and bladestorm.
wave serpent with twinlinked shurican canon
Two of the avenger squads hoof it with a farseer while the 3rd is in the wave serpent with the other farseer. The transported squad is for trouble shooting or boosting to a far/last minute objective. The Paths infilitrate right onto an objective with the scorpions below.
10x scorpions with exarch and shadowstrike
They infiltrate with pathfinders to help them hold the objective down.
10x warp spiders
Bone stock. I use them for trouble shooting. Jump 12", fire, extra warp back out of assault range/behind cover. Will usually help the pathfinder/scorpion objective.
Tactics are obvious here. Usually used to take on biker nobs and big bugs. Dispersed shot when theres nothing big to shoot.
Wraithlord with EML and BL
Walks up with the foot slogging avengers/farseer to take hits and shoot big things. If enemies get close I take dual flamers!
No real problems that I can see, never really used fortune on DAs seems like they just get shot up to much to survive for me even with it. now if you fortune the scorpions that seems like it would be a much better use of the power. I'd be a bit scared of going around with only 1 CC unit and that one baby sitting the pathfinders but with multiple DA I'm guessing that most hordes get cut down when close. only things I can think of.
My DAs tend to get assaulted so a fortune right before helps them last. Ill fortune the wraithlord at times aswell. The scorps usually dont need to last or even survive as long as they can keep my opponent from getting to the pathfinders.

Fair enough, mine end up in tatters before assaults. If they are getting to the assault stage why not make one shimmershield/powerweapon with defend. it lowers the shots alot I understand but use the one to take the charge and maybe keep the others safe. With fortune it should last decently in combat and maybe even get some kills. Just a thought.
