    Newbie [1500pts - Friendly]

    Hello everyone! I am new to the game and starting out with eldar. I will be fighting space marines, orks, an IG tank company, necrons, chaos (undivided) and tau. I don't have enough cash to field multiple lists so I was trying for something a bit more general. I would appreciate any help.

    Im pretty sure the Wave serpents have to take a gun. The codex says TL cats and one weapon from the following list. Not like "and may take". It doesnt has it has to either though but im pretty sure it's implied.

    I would drop the spider exarch and withdraw and just run 10 of them stock. You should be moving up 12" to get in range, shooting, then warping away ( to not get assaulted ). If youre assaulting I wouldnt...You do have the autarch with them though I assume but he doesnt have a melee weapon to make assaulting worth it. I would drop the Autarch too.

    With those extra points fill up your spider squad and put EMLs or BLs on your serpents to help with tanks or even scatters/shuricans to help with troops. You may want to take a 2nd farseer to help support. With 1500pts I try to take atleast 3 troop choices. You may want to try to squeeze another in there. Maybe a smaller biker squad with a warlock to hide and boost to an objective last turn?

    Your Auturch has mandiblasters for an extra close combat attack, but no power weapon so he's worthless in close combat.

    As was already mentioned wave serpents have to have a gun.

    Warp spiders do not need an exarch. Nor do the fire dragons.

    Fire prism should have spirit stones. They may not need vectored engines.

    My suggestions, drop the auturch and (it pains me to say this) the warp spiders. Put brightlances on your wave serpents because you have virtually no anti-tank should anything happen to the fire dragons. Beef up the fire dragons so they can wipe out squads of terminators or whatever. Alternatively, replace them with Banshees and run the farseer with them.

    also you don't need a wave serpent to transport your fire dragons, just use a falcon. giving it holofields it will have some nice survivablity and it has some nice firepower of it's own.

    Sorry, I have had kind of a hectic week, I completely forgot I posted this! I will have a list up by tomorrow, I will be droppuing the autarch and the spiders and beefing up everything else I've got. (I was mainly taking the autarch because he looks cool anyway)
