    Mad Doc's Mash 1550

I haven't played with the Mad Doc in a while, so I thought I'd try a new 'fun' list. The fluff behind it is that the list is the Mad Doc's mobile medical facility, with the battlewagon being a small mobile medical lab, the trukks being ork ambulances, the koptas being emergency evac helicopters, the big guns being the signal flares for the vehicles, and the lootas being the entrenched defenses surrounding the medical camp.

Why are the 'medical' personel so well armed? Just in case the 'patients' aren't willing. ^_^

    HQ

    Mad Doc Grotsnik [160]

Warboss w/mega armor, cybork, bosspole [110]

    TROOP

    3 Meganobz w/combi-scorcha, cybork, trukk, ram [180]

12 Slugga boyz w/nob, powerklaw, bosspole, trukk, ram [152]

12 Slugga boyz w/nob, powerklaw, bosspole, trukk, ram [152]

    19 Slugga boyz w/nob, powerklaw, bosspole [154]

    12 Grotts w/runtherder [46]

    ELITE

    9 Lootas, 2 w/Kmbs [135]

    9 Lootas, 2 w/Kmbs [135]

    FAST

    5 Deffkoptas w/big shootas [175]

    HEAVY

Battlewagon w/big shoota, grot riggers [100]

Big guns unit w/2 lobbas [50]

The warboss goes with the meganobz, and the 19 slugga boyz and Mad Doc both go inside the battlewagon.

    Any thoughts?

    couple of comments
    1. the lootas units are a little small, you could combine them into one unit of 15
    2. with the left over points you could get another meganob to make still unit a little more resilient

    Thank you

Thanks for the advice, but I've found that 1 unit of 15 nobz is easier for my opponents to destroy than 2 smaller units. It might be because I play against a lot of 'elite' opponents, with a low number of expensive units. Dividing up the units makes it more difficult for them to deal with both.
