When you write your lists, it's a good idea to list the number of models in each unit. Just listing "Slugga boyz" doesn't give us much information, since you can have any number of them just about. Also, it's a good idea to separate the list into paragraphs, categorised by the units' location on the Force Organisation Chart.
Can i have some comments? i don't even care if they are good or bad.
Ok, here are some advice:
First of all, always give Power claws to the nobs. Big choppas sound good until you realize, that they are not power weapons.
Give some special weapons to the boys. For example big shootas are damn cheap, and in a 30 guys squad, you lose only 3 attacks, but gain 9 shots for 36" at Str5 Ap5. I don't like rokkits that much but you can also use rokkits.
If you plan to use deff koptas, try to use them with rokkits. They are much better that way.
Also, your whole army is footslogging... You will never reach the opponent this way. The tankbustas, burnas, nobs, are all have a crosshair on their forehead, mainly because they only have a 6+ armour save. Even if you footslog them behind the boys, they only have a 4+ cover, and can be shot at. Never forget that against real CC units the boys can lose greatly, mainly if they get charged, thanks to their mediocre initiative. A medium sized (12+) unit of hormagaunts can rip them apart anytime, with a well placed charge.
You really need something that can either
a) transport your footsloggers to combat (trukks, battlewagons)
b) give distraction to the opponent until you reach them with footsloggers (bikers, nob bikers, kommandos)
c) have more speed to get there (stormboys, bikers)
d) have some long range weaponry (lootas, shokk attack gun, killkannon) to force the opponent to come to you
Also forget the spec squads in this percentage. Use either burnas or tankbustas (or I'd suggest lootas), but not both, because you need numbers, and you need troops. More troops. In 1500pts, you can put 3x30 boys (with nob+PK+bosspole+3specweapons) on the table easily, just for ~700 points, and build some specialties around them. You can see my last list on the first page, I like bikers helping the footsloggers, but you can also put a shokk attack gun and lootas behind them for more firepower. Or have squads of 20 put into battlewagons. Just never forget that in 5th edition you need lots of troops to get the objectives.
What I'd suggest is to read through the other army lists of this size (just on the first page there are 6 other 1500-1550 lists), and rethink the army, because I think that on the table, you don't have much of a chance like this.
Thank you, ill have a read through the other ones and think up a new list.
