hahaha nice!!! cept you can't have any more than 1 unit of biovores in a swarm. don't forget we can take clusters of them for fast attack!

lol i think i might try this one out on vassal!

You could replace the illegal biovores with 2 'fexes with BS and twin linked devourers.
Or for more fun, how about 3 'thropes with psychic scream and warp blast. Warp blast gives you three more templates per turn, plus up to -3 on those pinning checks.

I wonder how long a game against this list would take though....thats a lot of blasts to resolve..

    Good Luck!

There have been a lot of posts recently with folks only taking ripper swarms for troops. You cannot take or hold objectives or table quarters with them. Thats not good in 5th edition.

Also don't forget that tarpit units are much worse in 5th ed now that fearless (or fearless-esque) units take a crazy number of wounds at the end of each combat if they take far more wounds than they give, which against rippers shouldn't be too hard. You're probably just better off with gaunts, as at least they can take objectives.

Back on track to the main list: I think it would be quite a lot of fun once you fix the 6 biovores that are currently illegal. Perhaps BS Fexes, or WB Zoanthropes?
