Hears my army list right now
AGs (WS), EC, TSs, STs, TM Implant attack? i was wondering if this was a good idea becasue he could deal twice as many wounds too a unit. Suggestions?
ES, TS, EC, Twin-linked devourers (I cant decide which one to use both use the tyrant's strong points suggestions) NOTE: gave them EC because i dont have any Tyrant guards
3Tyranid Warriors x 2
Deathspitters, TSs, STs x2, RCs x 1, EC
10 hormagaunts TS, AG
14 Hormagaunts AG (i)
8 stealers RCs
6 stealers FHs
6 stealers STs, TS
3x zoanthropes Warpblast, SC or Pyschic scream
EC, RC, BE, TM, ST, AG (WS)
or instead of monster Carnifix
ES, SBs, Twin-linnked devourers
( i would need to add some more troops to replace the different point costs
My strategy for this army is too make a gun line that with the zoanthropes to give the troops and melee nids a chance to get into close combat. If i have a dakka tyrant i would use a Baitfex. If i used a Dakkafex i would use a melee tyrant. Suggestions?
Please note that i do not have the budget to buy Raveners, Tyrant Guard or gargoyles

I can see a number of problems with this list.
Tyrant - On implant attack it only works against Multiple wound models. so Against basic troops it doesn't double the number of kills. The Dakka Tyrant is a Staple around here but more people will tell you, and i agree, Wings make him more effective. With Warp Field instead of EC
Warriors - Not that there is anything wrong with it by why is there a single set of rending claws in the Warriors. What are these guys trying to do anyway better to focus them on ranged or shooting.
Termagaunts - good.
Hormagaunts - Strange to have different sized squads and different biomorphs, better to decide what you want for the whole lot and equalise the squads IMO.
Genestealers - I have the Same biff with these guys as the Hormagaunts. I would group your Stealers into a two sqauds so you could seperate the Termagaunts.
Zoanthropes - No Problem Here, solid, I'd go with Synapse on them specially if you have the Wings on the Tyrant.
Carnifex - I'm sorry I'm having trouble deciphering your two letter acronyms. I'd advise a Dakkafex or Sniperfex even though the Tyrant is shooty too he does well enough in close combat.
Hope that Helps
I'm pawning this to everyone Check out My 'Nids Tactica and give your Oppinion. I'm Desperate for Attention.
Well my two cents would be to either strap some wings on the tyrant or pick yourself up 2 to 3 guards (Proxy them if ur opponent will agree).
Also I love sniperfexes or Devilfexes. I find close combat to be sadly ineffective for carnifexes, except of course charging tanks, which is soooo satisfying.
I honestly do not like using hormagaunts, which sucks because I love the models.
I would keep your termagant or use spinegaunts but split the squads into 13, also consider Without number, it has worked wonders for me so far.
If you give the Zoan's synapse it'll be an excellent combo with WoN gaunts for capping objectives.
Keep your warriors specialized, either shoot or assault, do one thing well and stick to it.
If you lose the hormagaunts and keep your genestealers fairly inexpensive, you can afford larger stealer squads. Run em' behind the gaunts for saves, or outflank, its funny to shcok your opponent VIA outflanking their objective holders.
Hope at least 50% of what i said made sense, this is just from my nid experience and what has worked for me.
Good luck and bring home the Biomass!
thanks fo all the advice. definetly making two genestealers squads instead of three seems like a good idea, so that i could split up the gaunts into more effective squads.
HAving tyrant guards with the dakka tyrant would rock so that he could shoot and then assault with the effectiveness of a lone CC tyrant
The carnifix on the other hand is a melee beast because i spent about fours hours applying an extra carapace on its back with putty counting as RC, BE and Ex Car. I really dont want to take it off so i think a CC carnifix would be the option if it had all those upgrades on it.
