Hello Curoption, and welcome to LO, also welcome to Necrons! I'm continually astounded by the number of new players we get around here for such an old army.
Well you got some strong elements, and I could see this list working out, but there's a few things you could work on to make it more effective.
First off, Warriors work fine in smaller squads, giant massed squads are OK, but if an IC, or some close combat unit hits you, the squad is just as likely to get killed by sweeping advance and not get any WBB, as a smaller squad, which would save you models, and keep you from phasing out so quick. Go for 3 squads of 12 warriors each instead, and see how that works out, this is especially important in regards to objective games in 5ed.
Your Lord's equipment is a bit scattered. I have personally never used a warscythe, especially on a foot lord, there are few units that a lord can kill with a warscythe that it can't kill MORE of with the Staff. However if you want to run it with your giant amount of wraiths, make a "wraithlord" (destroyer lord, phase shifter, res orb, warscythe, or as close as you can get to this)
I'm sort of surprised to see you take all three heavy support options, Kudos for going out on that one!
Wraiths, even 9 of them, are not actually all that tough, in the end, they're just as easy to kill as a space marine when faced with small-arms fire (well..one with WBB but still). Keep them within range so they always keep WBB! and if you go up against another super-heavy assault unit, use all three of your squads to charge, your S, I and invi save SHOULD care you through anything but don't get down if you loose a couple. Also, they can hunt vehicles like nobodies business.
Tomb spyders! I have a small article written up about them, check over that for some idea.
Heavy Destroyers will probably be nice for you to have around, but i wonder if you shouldn't find some more anti-infantry firepower in immortals though. You should be fine for anti-tank with yer wraiths, spyders and gauss weapons. Up to you and what your collection consists of though.
I like that info ill for sure consider breaking up my warriors. i new to the new rules and i'm not sure at all what i should run really if you don't mind you want me to list everything i have and you could help me coordinate it?
Okie so i have
6 Destroyers/Heavy or Normal i have magnets ftw so they can switch easily
8 immortals but i proc 4 of the immortals with my old 4 flayed ones
thats about it for now
Do you have two foot lords? or one foot and one destroyer?
Well unless you wanna be proxying I guess I'd say skip the immortals then.
Again I think you have a REALLY fun looking list, I think you should tweak it a bit and see how it flies. Maybe something along the lines of...
HQ: x1 Lord, res orb, gaze of flame, nightmare shroud (OR Destroyer lord, res orb, warscythe) - 180
Trp: 4x10 warriors.
FA: 3x3 Wraiths
HS: x1 monolith
HS: x3 HDs
HS: x2 TS
Keep the spyders in front of the warriors, the mono can either be centered in your force, or Deep-struck into the enemy formation (WATCH OUT for heavy carnifex, wraithlord, lascannon and ordinance weapons with this!) Wraiths take a flank and go chew stuff up. HDs take a flank, and try out some side-armor on tanks (if not that just take front armor they can kill anything) also use them for terminators, carnifex, wraithlords etc. Lord either goes with the warriors, (front, centerish) or the wraiths.
i have a destroyer lord and a land lord
You could go with either one then, they'd both be nicely effective in the end. Foot lord would be better against shooting armies decidedly though. That res-orb coverage for Warriors can have them stand through battlecannon shots.
so im playing against a Noise Marines in a Slaanesh army on friday what u think a good army would be?
Eeeek. That most likely means you're going to be up against some Lash of Submissions, take the heavy destroyers for sure, and blast his Daemon Prince/sorcerers of the map with their gauss cannons. do not let yourself get shoved around by it! (Lash of submission is a psychic power that allows him to move YOUR units 2d6" whichever direction he desires, and then causes pinning, whatever unit it is on, keep out of range (24") and snipe the psyker best you can.
Noise marines are the exact same as a chaos marine, except with fearless, and I-5. Your wraiths will be able to mop them up rather efficiently. Keep the foot lord in case he has defilers or oblits. And DO NOT let him get the charge, make sure you line up all the charges, call the shots your way. The monolith's particle whip could potentially take out an entire squad of his troops with one shot, but if you're warriors are threatened by a charge, teleporting them out is more important. They may all be equiped with storm-bolter equivalents, but lets face it, massed S4 fire against most necron units is a non-issue. They can fire that weapon and charge though, and they get 3 attacks each on the charge (even 'crons will feel it when every enemy model is hitting with 5 S4 swings en total)
Obliterators, terminators and characters are the biggest threat CSM have, they can rip through our squads with relative ease, also watch out for aspiring champions in the noise marine squads, they can have AP3 heavy flamers...nasty stuff. I Can't stress enough to stay OUT of combat, CSM is one of the strongest CC armies in the game, only assault with your assault units (wraiths and spyders) you should win most fights with them, but your warriors will very likely get shredded even by a normal squad. Don't let anything stray too far from your main parts (warrior phalanx and wraithwing) and you should be alright.
Best of luck with your game!
(Btw you don't need a title for every post.)
