    1000 competative

    HQ:
Farseer, Doom, Spirit Stones, Guide - 115 points

    Troops:
8 Dire Avengers, Exarch, Bladestorm - 128 points
8 Dire Avengers, Exarch, Bladestorm - 128 points

    Elites:
    5 Fire Dragons - 80 points
8 Howling Banshees, Exarch, Executioner, Acrobatic - 160 points

    Transport:
Wave Serpent, Twin Linked Bright Lances - 135 points

    Heavy Support:
    3 War Walkers, 3x Bright Lances, 3x Starcannons - 255 points

Total - 1001 (do people honestly care if its 1 point over? if so drop acrobatic)

    The idea:
Farseer attached to banshees to ensure whatever they attack dies.
walkers shoot up vechiles and heavily armored targets
dires hold objectives, shooting up anything that gets in their great 18 inch range
dragons are loaded into the serpent and sent on assassination mission

    all critiques and comments welcome.

I wonder if you are destined to be forgotten. Will your life fade in the shadow of greater beings?

Swap the walkers for two more transports if you are looking for a little more staying power. 255 for a single unit at 1000 pts is a lot imo.

You'e chosen a good selection of squads but IMHO the army is too fragile. Without an Avatar to stay fearless or transprts to hide in, Eldar footslogging forces will be chopped to bit by pie-plates, heavy bolters etc.

I'd say get an Avatar, or perhaps few more transports.

Might as well split up those Walkers, save being blasted in one go by a good round of fire.

I'd say drop the FD and use the serpent to carry your banshees and Farseer. Use the 80pts. where you need them to buff out your army. I would also drop the BL's off your WW and give them EML and Starcannons.
    Do I know you?!?!?!?!?

A note on the Banshees, 6 will do, you never want to kill the target in the first round of combat and be left open to an entire shooting phase.

Drop the walkers for more serpents, and in honesty i think the farseer has too much gear.

I would swap the war walkers for a pair of fire prisms. Ive found prisms are absurd in the smaller point games. I always play at least two and they haven't failed me yet.
