ok so im experimenting with army lists, here it is
orb lord= 140
8 pariahs= 288
30 warriors= 540
3 spyders= 175
i think its a solid listt. lets here some thoughts
I'd mix up your force a bit. To melee-superunits are just going to be avoided. Also you have a depressing lack of Necrons, as well as range/speed.
I'm mot iffy about the Nightbringer and pariahs in the same list. Sort of strikes me the same way as using Monolith + C'tan in the same list, just PILES of points into super-units, which I'm not a big supporter of.
You mentioned to me that you might look into wraiths, and I feel they would be a much stronger addition to the list. A Destroyer lord w/ orb, and 2x3 wraiths, instead of the nightbringer and one tombspyder would keep your list to a far more efficient level as far as destructive power goes IMO.
I'm also wondering if you shouldn't find a way to fit Flayed Ones in as well, to tag-team with the pariahs, or if the spyders won't be enough for supporting them. This list is definitely provoking alot of ideas, it's fun ^^.
Mostly I think you should stuff more necrons in, then either get some Fast units, or some units with range (or just take destroyers and get both.)
i played a eldar aspect shooter army with this list today and beet him quite heavily! this list works well against shooting armies and mixed up terrain (lots of buildings/stuff blocken line of sight.)
the thing that gave him the biggest headake was the nightbringer, his guardiens couldnt kill it or wound it, and i kept a unit of 10 warriors with him as back up.
my pariahs countered his wraithguard along with my lord with them. and my tomb spyders and other 20 warriors acted as a second wave and hunted down his rangers, which he had alot of infiltrated all over the map.
anyways the list was fun to play but i think if i wasnt as aggresive i would have lost, its just one big momentum all at once that is really hard to counter, im gonna try my tyranid and SM friend soon with this list and see out it works out and give you a heads up on what happens
Your taking Pariah and NOT a Deceiver?
are you mad?
well it all worked so obviously im not?
Pariahs are fine without the Deceiver on the field, they don't require to be matched up, it's just fun to do. If anything my favorite play is to get them into a squad of standard Imperial Terminators.
