    no offence but this list will struggle against alot of list out there. you only have one weapon that can damage light vehicles and thats it. you dont need pathfinders below 1000pts, just enough guns to kill the enemy, swap a squad of fire warriors for a 10 man kroot squad with a few hounds, get rid of the psthfinders and squeze in a hammerhead withrailgun trust me hope this helps.

    Need to agree with, Starfire, here. It's good, but at 500pt you won't be needing half of the gear.

    1. Your shas'el will be a big part, of your force, in games under 1kpts. Go for one with plasma rifle/missile pod/targeting array/hard-wired multi tracker. It'll turn out to be a point less, than your original idea, but you now can handle those jerks who stick in light vehicles/beefy SMs/etc.

    2. I'd go with a team of FWs, and a squad of Kroot. My standard 500pt force has 10 FWs and 12 Kroot. You can trade-in 2 Kroot, for 2 hounds, if you wish.

    3. At 500pts, as Starfire pointed out, you don't need pathfinders. At this point level, you need all the guns you can carry. It's a good team you created, for 1000+ games, but drop the seekers. They are better taken on Skyrays or placed on Piranha.

    4. With the PFs out of the way, it's time to be sneaky. Tau are one of the few forces, which can push in a decent vehicle at 500pts. I give you, the hammerhead. Arm it with a railgun/2 burst cannons (not TL'ed)/multi-tracker, and you can fire as a fast vehicle which will make a big mess.

    At this point, you'll have 77pts left over. I'd go for another crisis, but won't tell you what a use. My force is ... well ... a bit "wacky". You could go for one with TL'ed flamer/missile pod/targeting array/HW multi-tracker. You could also go with another crisis, like your shas'el, just bump off a Kroot to add in the HW multi-tracker.

    Just my opinions.
