    Troops:
    12x Firewarriors -Shas'ui w/ BK------------------220pts

Any thoughts on this list or what I should be picking up as I expand towards making a 1500 point army?

I run the risk of sounding pretty stoopid when i say this, but what do you mean by Fire Knife on your battlesuits? Also, are you using rifles or carbines for your warriors?

Otherwise, this sounds like a decent list so far. I suggest more fire warriors with rifles or a Hammerhead with a railgun for your next investment.

Fireknife in the HQ slot means it has a Plasma Rifle, a missile pod, a Targeting array, and a Hard wired multi-tracker

a Fireknife in the Elites slot means it has a Plasma Rifle, Missile pod, and Multi-tracker

Fire warriors come standard with rifles...assume he has them cause Carbines suck.

This is a nice list, I just have a few suggestions.

Think about this. You are paying 155 points for one markerlight hit per turn. I know this unit is almost invincible, but there are far better options.

    Troops:
    12x Firewarriors -Shas'ui w/ BK------------------220pts
    Devilfish w/D-Pod
Good. Maybe put a multi-tracker on the fish.

    12x Firewarriors -Shas'ui w/ BK------------------135pts
Static fire warriors? Not a good idea. Kroot are better.

    15 Kroot Carnivores-----------105pts
Good. You should have another unit of these to replace the static fire warriors. I'd think about using kroot hounds; their initiative 5 is great.

If you want to use broadsides, you need advanced stabilization systems on them. You will also need a team leader with a target lock so that you can kill two tanks per turn.

I'd get a squad of pathfinders (easily converted from fire warriors) and 2 hammerheads.
