Your DA's are gonna have a hard time walking up the field without taking casualties. Same goes for the Avatar and Wraithlord. I'm not a personal fan of Spiders in 1000pt. games as they're quite expensive per model.

I would consider investing in duel Wave Serpeants at least for the DA's, those supply your core troop choices. Mobility really wins games when you're low on troop counts.

I wouldn't take rangers unless you're bent on having them to plant on an objective and hold it. Don't really expect them to take out much though.

The farseer is fine, just stick him with one of the squads. Personally I'd rather have him with a squad of banshees for a CC punch but it looks like you're aiming more for shooting. Is replacing models ok or is this what you have to work with? I don't want to totally revamp your army if it's not possible

I actually think a twin MC list could be very amusing in 1000 points. It's pretty balanced but I'd drop the Warp Spiders in favour of a Wave Serpent for one of the DA squads.

No vectored engines, add spirit stones.

    No spears.

Does this really add up to 1000 pts?

Agreed - Spirit Stones are a must and vectored engines are irrelevent. Because Wave Serpents are transports they require movement at all times - Spirit Stones increases the chances of staying mobile when damaged, which vectored engines just prevent crashing when being immobilised. But you're still immobilised.

It's similar to why Holo fields on Fire Prisms are a waste of points.

Also when you say "Doomseer with Guide" do you mean a Farseer with Doom and Guide? If so he needs spirit stones, you might as well get them with the points you save on downgrading from Vectored Engines.

I only had 3 points left to spend so thought mite as throw it in there.
whoops just noticed that ive left the five jet bikes out.

    5 jetbikes
    shurikan cannon.

if i take the v Engines off and put in spirit stones ive got 20 points to spare.
Should I take the Singing spear out and have a 6 man unit of jetbikes?
    thank spud
