I realise this is hardly a competative list. I do play for the fluff, and what models look cool. I was thinking of modifying to include Pathfinders (they're a must, I know...) and was wondering where to drop my points? I'm thinking of removing the plasma squad, which never seems to do much. I want to love the Deathrains, but their total kill count is a few SM Scouts, so they would be next to go.

This is probably down to my stratagy, which is draw the enemy forward (Kauyon) then DS behind him and pincer (Mont'ka). Problem is, I forget to roll reserves so much it's not funny, and i end up playing 1000 points against 2000, and the reinforcements can't do enough to help. So I'm hoping the LO Tau community can

In order to get some points for the Pathfinders, why not drop some of the Shield Generators? If you're worried about getting your saves, then just use cover more to your advantage.

Also, your Shas'o group needs Hard-Wired Multitrackers. You could also make him a Shas'el to save points too.

As for your reserves coming in, try using the Positional Relay. Just delay a few squads until the 3rd or 4th turn and then have everyone come in on a 3/2+

Hmm... I just prefer to make sure I get my saves. You can't put a price on shrugging off lascannon fire... The Shas'o's extra wounds come in handy, and the Shield Gens are part of my fluff... I'll playtest it with a few modifications and get back
