Ok, this is a bit unorthodox list, but please tell me what you think it will do in a competitive environment.
Eldrad - 210 pts
// will travel with avengers and provide all the support he can get. If they go into an assault he will go and kill vehicles or heavy infantry.
Dire Avengers - 177 pts
-Exarch, Power Weapon and Shimmer Shield
// they are a bit overupgraded but since they will be fighting at the front lines they may need all the help they can get. If the game is for counters, they can always sit out till the last turn and jump all ahead at the last moment for the objectives.
Wave Serpent - 140 pts
Star Engines, Spirit Stones, Scatter Laser
// Bought for Eldrad and Avengers
Pathfinders - 120 pts
// babysit home objective, hopefully no one will pay much attention to them since whole army is going to boost very fast towards the front line
Guardian Jet Bikes - 76 pts
// will either hop back and fourth and shoot from behind a hill, or appear later in the game to turbo boost and claim an objective.
Fire Dragons - 139 pts
-6 men + exarch
-Fire Pike, Crack Shot
// will travel in a Falcon and try to destroy heavy armour and if possible some heavy infantry.
Falcon - 155 pts
-Star Engines, Spirit Stoner
-Scatter Laser, Pulse Laser

Against a gunline:
Stay in reserve, once arrived, I fortune everything and outlast them till the last turn and grab objectives fast. Maybe rush with Avengers and try to bring some chaos to the enemy formation.
Either evade their assault and try to separate the forces to deal with them separately .
Either way I have the upper hand with deployment because of Eldrad, so most likely I will only pick fights on my terms.
It is awkward to make a list without a prism, but please tell me if you think it may work. It looks to me that rate of fire is more important in 5th than actual power of the weapon, and I have Dragons, Pulse Laser and Eldrad to deal with heavy vehicles. Rhinos can be dealt with by pretty much anything in this force.

Hmmm, I really like the idea of all your vehicles, and with eldrad, I believe it is actually pretty competitive. But like you said "weird without prisms". I think the one way to enhance this list would be to drop the dragons and falcon, and replace it with two prisms, and more bikes for the squad. Because as it is, it is easy to hide a squad of three bikes, but if they get killed, and the rangers don't hold their ground, that could be a real nuisence. And, in addition to that, the bikes can do some more interesting moves, like boosting up the side of the board for side armor shots with those shurricannons.
Overall it seems pretty fun to me.
If a person would go after rangers, means he is not using his long-range firepower against falcons and the main assault force. In my experience it takes quite a bit of shooting to get rid of those guys sitting in a cover.
Bikes are there not to fight but in the most dire circumstances. Most likely they will support the back front a little and eventually turboboost to an objective, or if needed fly towards some unit that needs to be distracted/
The reason I am more for the dragons over the prisms is because of infinite cover people can get for their vehicles now, and 1 charged prism is worse than 6 melta shots, given I can protect the dragons to live another turn after they fire up they can be as much of a trouble for mon-keigh as a prism is.

Looks fine, drop the Power Weapon on the Avengers. It's totally useless, S3 won't impress anything you'd like to kill in CC, speed is your ally, don't get caught in a charge.
Drop the Exarch out of the Fire Dragons. These are a suicide unit in most games, they hop out, melt something big and scary and probably die. Limit their cost, and the Exarch doesn't do anything. You drop them close so the Pike is a waste and you don't need Tank Hunters with 5-6 shots.
I'd not recommend Eldrad in so low a points, he's powerful but a Doomseer would free up a 3rd Troops or something else shiny.

I think this list would work as is, and never has there been a better time to TANKSHOCK! make those guard test their leadership second turn while still close to the edge, and follow them off the board. It actually is seeming to look more and more effective to me, even though it hasn't changed haha.
However, I don't think it's quite as competitive as a tourney list, because if you did that super turbo charge across the board, and the enemy had fire dragons or any meltas, you'd probably hurt even with the cover save. And we all know dragons without wings tend to die quickly.
if your going to take guardian jetbikes, you should really take at least 5 of them. Having only 3 means your enemy only really needs to kill 2 and than the unit it practically harmless.. Other than that, i like the looks of things mate
