This is only the second list I have ever made for Necrons. Please go easy on me.
7 Flayed Ones
6 Flayed Ones
5 Scarab Swarm
5 Scarab Swarm
6 Scarab Swarm
3 Heavgy Destroyers
Seems all right, but i don't like one lonley squad of heavy destroyers. I support exhanging them for tomb spyders.
Tomb spyders would definitely be helpful for doing heavy lifting once all your elements get into close combat, use the scarabs/flayed ones to get in and tie up the enemy, then the Tomb spyders to come in and bulldoze through them. Heavy Destroyers do give you a better option for killing large/tough targets before your combat units get to them, which may also be useful. Though since this IS a close combat oriented list, I feel tomb spyders might actually be a stronger choice
Consider that Flayed Ones can charge after coming through the Monolith, so maybe DSing the Monoliths could get you in a good spot. On the other hand their fire support may be something you want from turn 1. Really depends on what you are facing. I will say that in 2K you are going to want both monoliths, as one of them is likely to get killed. Fortunately since melta is so popular, you're rather well protected against the anti tank in many armies.
