2000pts exactly

Standard tactics really the Archon accompanies the first squad of wyches in their raider used for hunting HQ's other than MCs primarily or goes and takes on close combat units with power weapons after this.

The Dracon goes hunting medium toughness oppostion or shreds his way through squads of tactical marines.

The second wych squad is used to tie up MCs or terminators and other such close combat infantry.

The sniper squads sit in cover in the centre or as close to as possible my deployment zone(their is often an objective in this cover) and shoots MCs or armour.

The large warrior squads either sit on move forward fast to take central cover and provide lots of fire and if necessary and likely to win the combat will take an enemy on.

The raider squad hangs back and waits for the end to hopefully claim or contest an objective.

The ravager hunts large squads

The Talos does whatever it can and is often very useful in taking out an MC or armour in combat, it also can go into squads though mainly just draws fire.

this list is almost good, but I see a few mistakes. First obvious one: missing your third heavy support. You should really take a a second ravager or a second talos.
Safest would be a second ravager, but take a talos if you want more cc.

Lucky for you I know the perfect place to steal the points: syabrites XD

It may seem like a personal choice, but it isn't. Warriors are all about shooting, don't get them into cc even though they have fairly attractive stats. warriors always die in cc against anyone, it's no use to get warriors killed pointlessly and besides this the sybarite himself isn't worth the amount of points and he isn't always as effective as you wish he was.
There's a huge difference between a marine squad with leader and warriors with sybarite:
marines don't get killed against normal opponents, the leader doesn't die easily either and like a sybarite he can be a real killer. Marines will win most ccs because of their save, for DE that's their weak spot. They may be pretty good offensively, but you'll lose most cc because they fail their saves. Sybarite may kill 2-3 guys, but warriors won't do much against a cc specialist and they'll get killed, making the squad lose the cc in most cases.

It's actually a risky decision to take a sybarite, he and his squad aren't the best option.
You did take him in the possible best squad for him. warrior squads with splinter cannons and blasters/shredders have to get close to be effective, meaning they'll get involved in cc , the syabrite is there to protect them.

Just try to avoid any cc with any of your troops, it's better to keep them clean and alive, especially the raider squads, just keep them in the raider, never get them off unless your raider is shot down...as for warrior squads do the same, use them to shoot down enemies, if an enemy cc unit is getting close send your wyches/ incubi on them, they're the real cc specilist you should rely on if you wanna go in cc.

Most veteran DE players take less and less syabrite, a lot of veterans don't take any sybarites at all. You could still take them if you insist, to see whether they're worth it or not. You'll see how good/bad they perform in cc. You'll see that you won't even use some of your syabrites, some will not change anything in your cc and your warriors will still lose a cc. Imagine teminators moving into any of your squads, do you really think your sybarite will change anything?

Strategy for this type of army is send cc units forward, everyone else back them up, warriors shouldn't get involved in any cc if you play right, this kinda list can lead to massacres if you play it right.

Thanks for the comments.

With the way i play this list the warriors all head for cover and sit there and shoot, however since many of my opponents are tyranids they get assaulted often(by gaunts or deep striking lictors, and on occasion tactical squads) hence the sybarites who help the combat carry on into the next phase to make sure i get a charge with the CC power units to clear them out.

If you read the rest of the tactics i explain the wyches will go after the things like terminators and you always have at least one turn as they cannot assault straight after a deep stike. My army is quite a shooty army I don't want to assault if i want to run an army that will do that constantly i would have a third wych squad.

I do like a second ravager but i find that it isn't that useful, in this list, as tanks are easily dealt with mainly because there are few of them and as such easy enough for the lance squads or the raiders to deal with, I already have plenty of anti troop in my army as well so that isn't a big problem.
