Kustom Force Field
8 Nobs (accompanying Wierdboy, In Trukk)
3 Big Choppas
2 Rokkit Launchas
2 Big shootas
1 Mek with Kustom Mega Blasta, The others with Big Shootas
This is going to be a part of a Tournament Introducing the Space Wolves on the 3rd.
I haven't tried this list as of yet - but I am hoping to troubleshoot it tomorrow as a last minute thing. But when it comes to experience and theory, I seek your guy's help. So, please if you're willing, give me some tips on this amateur list.
My plan is to leave the Trukk in reserve while the Boys provide a distraction/Cover to my Dred and slog up the field in the Force field. The lootas are going to smack around any Teminators/Big things. I will then bring in my Trukk, And hopefully the Wierdboy will have good fate and Deep Strike my Nobs in the middle of their firing line/weak spots. With the Claws and Extra Nobs as a sort of Cannon fodder - and with enough nobs to Confer A high leadership to my Wierdboy assuring he will not fail his test. Even if the Wierdboy doesn't get his Spells right at first, he will still put out quite a punch without too much risk for accident - being a Warphead.

I use Lootas as Autocannons and Lascannons and no one ha said a word. You should be fine.
Played two games against my Imperial Guard buddy.
His loadout looked something like this
Platoon Command Squad
Company Command Squad
Veterans with 2 flamers
Two Guardsmen squads with Vox casters, Sergants and Grenade Launchers
Basilisk with heavy bolter
Demolisher with Las Cannon, two plasma cannons, and some 'Commander something' upgrade that gave him BS 4 >:C
Sentinel with Lascannon
Kasarkins in Deep Strike
The first game I got annihilated. I destroyed his basilisk. He killed everything else by turn 4.
Second game went very well. My Trukk stormed up the field, and was hit by his Las Cannon with Ramshackle it Kareened into his Guardsmen, killed 7 of them and sent a squad running off the map. 1 Nob died, and the n 6 of them died from the Demolisher Cannon. :C Basilisk was kept stunned by my Lootas.
Nobs and Wierdboy were pretty much annihilated with the full force of his Guardsmen.
Lootas did their job again
He made a mistake by bringing his Demoisher within the grips of my Dreadnought, which destroyed it.
My shootas killed off the Veterans, Big shootas from multiple things killed off many guardsmen, eventually taking out a squad. Kasarkins were taken out by a combination of my Lootas, and my Big mek finishing them off in Close combat.
For the final turn I hunkered down, spread my guys to the brink of sqaud coherency - and his Basilisk didn't do much more hurt. The game ended on turn 5, He had either 3 or 4 killpoints, I had 4 or 5 and won.
I'm pretty exited, because from what I hear Imperial Guard give Orks alot of headache.
I think with the changes you mentioned above, my army is very well balanced and ready for the tournament this Saturday.
IG can give Orks headaches, it depends on the list of both players. Take advantage of some of the bad things he uses, like the Basilisk.
