Fuegan, The Burning Lance 205
"The Chosen" 7 Fire Dragons Exarch w/ Dragon's Breath Flamer 124
"The Guardians" 7 Fire Dragons - 112
"The Zealots" 10 Storm Guardians 2 Flamers & Warlock w/ Enhance 132
"The Watchers" 5 Pathfinders - 120
Wave Serpent "Fuegan's Wrath" Twin-Linked Shuriken Cannon 100
Wave Serpent "Smouldering Fury" Twin-Linked Shuriken Cannon 100
Wave Serpent "Guardian's Fevor" Twin-Linked Shuriken Cannon + Additional Shuriken Cannon 110
The army is 1003 points, the Idea is Fuegan has recently been accompanied by some Fire Dragons and their Exarch from the Shrine of the Burning Lance. The Zealots are ex-Dragons that follow in their forefather's footsteps, aiding him in any way possibly and fighting by his side unto death. A group of Pathfinders are also tracking the mighty Phoenix Lord's movements should he need support or should their Craftworld need his support....
Thanks for looking C&C is much welcomed

the actual list is 998 points
a unit of 5 pathfinders cost 120 points
good thing you left room =)
It's definitely an interesting list. I feel you could use a little more in the way of anti-infantry though. A Dragon's breath flamer instead of the firepike on your exarch would be a strong choice. Also I'm having a hard time placing the autarch. I think if you dropped him, and one squad of pathfinders, then grabbed some dire avengers and threw them in a wave serpent it could work out far more in your favor, or even guardians. Storm guardians with flamers could make sense, and really help you out, think of them as eldar who were once fire dragons coming to serve the pheonix lord they previously served. The flamers would give you some MUCH needed infantry-killing ability. Also it would give you a mobile troops unit, far more useful for grabbing objectives than pathfinders.
EDIT: Pricing this up, WITH a warlock (unfortunately not enough points for enhance) 10 SGs in a waveserpent w/ two flamers is 217 points, 2 points more than the combined cost of one pathfinder squad and your autarch.
For the points you'd save, you'll be able to take enhance on the warlock (or destructor if you find more templates attractive) AND another dragon-flamer exarch in your second fire dragons squad. This would allow pretty much every squad you field take down infantry, and you have enough fire dragons that tanks and MC's are a joke anyway. Shame about the exarch's ballistic skill being wasted on a flamer, but you shouldn't have to worry terribly much about that.
Had a similar idea to this myself but for 1500 pts, never got around to building the army though. The idea of the storm guardians is great and yeah, the autarch doesnt really fit, especially not with fuegan there. Well done on making such a list, I think we need to see more well themed eldar lists like this out there, there is way to much of "a little bit of everything" lists which frankly gets boring. Also, don't take firepikes, they are a massive waste of points. They have no synergy with the fusion guns and a dragons breath is way more useful. As for troop killing, I think you'd be surprised a unit of Fire dragons with a DBF jumping out of a wave serpent with TLSCs can be, especially against meqs. And to be honest that many fusion guns wont really need tank hunters. You could probly knock off some points there. Maybe if you knocked the pathfinders back to rangers and got rid of the TH and firpike you could get some more Fire Dragons? Havent looked at pts. Anyways, nice work.
Love it. Hope it plays well for ya .
Sorry, one more comment. Personally, if an exarch with DBF is only 12 pts, I would get rid of enhance or the extra shuriken cannon (probably the shuriken cannon) to fit it in on the second squad of fire dragons. Maybe you've only got one exarch for fluff reasons though, which on second thought does make sense. I'm not too sure if two exarchs for one shrine happens or not? Anyways, thats just my opinion. Great work.
It's sorta 50/50 Fluff and choice. Fluff because yeah, I do believe one Shrine has one Exarch (Although, strictly speaking, the one I have used is Fuegan's own). The 50% that is my own choice is due to the Storm Guardians needsing a boost in the combat area... They're pretty poor assault troops without Enhance lol! :p
Tested out against a what I call 'Legion' style setup of Necrons. Basically 2 Lords and Lots of Warriors, a few Immortals, and some Flayed Ones with Scarab Bases in support.
As you guys can imagine... this setup of Eldar oblitorated them. The highlight was when Fuegan took on both Lords at once and carved them both up! :p I took about 50% losses but in turn wiped out every Necron before they had chance to phase out! lol
The Storm Guardians were decent, and managed to (Somehow) wipe out a squad of 5 Flayed Ones, with one Flamer-armed Guardian and the Warlock surviving, but were later cut down by some Warriors who had few other targets.
The Wave Serpents really proved their worth, ferrying Fire Dragons around to new locations. The Pathfinders also accounted for a decent amount of Necron 'life', before being gunned down by 2 turns of the Immortal's Gauss fire. Overall, not a bad result!
