I like to post Eldar lists from time to time because I secretly really like their army and there's a lot of the same around the boards usually. Here's a build I think could be fun.
Autarch w/ Power Weapon, Fusion Blaster and Banshee Mask
2x 6 Fire Dragons
Wave Serpent w/ TL Shuriken Cannon and Stones
Wave Serpent w/ TL Scatter Lasers and Stones
3x 10 Storm Guardians w/ 2 Flamers + Warlock w/ Destructor and Spear
2x 2 War Walkers w/ 2 Scatter Lasers each
Comes out to exactly 1750 if Army Builder is right.
Just seems like a very fun and strong list to me. The Autarch is a pretty good fighter and can give some tank busting to a Guardian squad. He also let's you Outflank those Walkers to abuse back armor, or Reserve your whole army against Drop Pods etc.
Eldrad tosses out tons of psychic abilities, decent fighter when he has too and screws with Deployment, his most overlooked ability. You can easily bait someone into a flank and than switch your army to the other side, devastating.
The Dragons are for armor hate, two squads gives the list some redundancy, usually an Eldar weakness. The weapons were to shave points, Scatters are great but I had to bite the bullet and take a Cannon, not awful but not preferred.
Storm Guardians are the best Eldar Troops imo. Flamers will do more damage against more armies than Catapults, especially with Doom. The Warlock brings anti-tank in CC and from close range, something an Exarch can't. The unit is also cheaper. EMLs are better than Lances overall because of the flexibility, points saved and the fact you can easily get Meltas for heavy armor.
War Walkers are an uncommon Heavy choice because Prisms and Wraithlords are so favored. I really like Wraithlords but there's the Wraithsight risk in a fast moving army and their lack of speed. Walkers can sit in cover and just drown units in wounds or Outflank and expose rear armor.
The list has some neat tricks with Divitation and Reserves/Scout Moves to make Deployment a headache against any army. 3 Scoring units isn't great but they're well protected and Eldar are great at objective denial. The guns can shoot well because of Guide, good BS, TL or lack of needing to hit.
Again, I don't play Eldar but feel free to C&C the list or just post an impression. A buddy of mine has about 20k points of Eldar (not including Super Heavies) so who knows I may take it for a spin sometime.
I'm guessing the guardian squads are supposed to be in waveserpents. If so then it is a solid list. Only thing that I'm not sold on is Eldrad. Yes he is the undisputed heavyweight of the farseers and rather nasty for a 10,000+ year old running around in a robe, but I think the list could survive rather well with just a normal farseer ( guide/doom or fortune/doom ). The extra points could go toward more warwalkers or maybe find a way to sneak in a 4th troop, or possibly change the autarch for yriel who is generally more useful.
Yeah they each have a Serpent w/ EMLs, my bad.
