    1.5k New to Orks

    Ok, so I am trying to get back into WH40k after a 7 year absence. I really want to play orks with their new codex.

    How does this list look.

    With the new orks one is better off commiting to one thing,
    So possibly source some trukks to feild with boys etc instead of the footslogging half of them are going to be doing. They will be pieplated etc, where in a trukk with your kff mek you'll get that 4+ save. it also results in more PK attack around and arriving in battle

    DEffrollas are more or less obligitory, drop the kannons as the BW should always be moving so you won't be able to fire them, rather than 4bs try 2 and grot riggers getting a wagon up again after it's been hurt or putting a weapon back on

    pretty small for an ork list but with a dizzying amount of firepower. I like the CC capability of the nobz in the shoota squads, it discourages suiciding an assault squad or lictor to try to tie them up. You have more than enough AI, but what about anti heavy tanks like land raiders and the like? Its not unheard of to go up against 1 or 2 in a 1500 point game.

    Play a couple of games with it untill you get the hang of fitting everything into one KFF bubble then drop the second one, maybe field another couple of Koptas.
    As people will tell you don't _need_ two(orks should nevereververver split their forces, but if you feel the need then go untill you become comfy.

    Should I add another unit of 3? or should I just add 2 more to the current unit? If I drop the Big Mek I still need 50 more points to get a second unit of koptas thats just like the first.

    What if I dropped one of the meks, then add 2 more koptas with rokkits and another buzzsaw to the unit. Something like this.

    I'm still experimenting with Koptas using their scout outflank is unnerving to the opposition from what I've been experiencing. The fact that they can hurt anything from the rear (or the just side if your oppo really careful) the turn the come on is nice.

    At most I've stuck to one PK in the unit as they swing at str 7 which isn't as great as TLRL which is only 20 more and one is getting an extra warm body, if you get what I'm saying? The Buzz is good, but not at the same price as throwing it on a different unit or some such even a biggbomm used well will be better (in my opinion) than an extra PK points and versility wise at the end of the day

    All in I like your list, changing it too much more would just be making it more like one of mine, try with what you have for the moment mate and good luck~!

    Ok, so I went ahead and revised my list. I decided against the burna boyz because even though I know EVERYONE uses lootas, I really like them as well, especially since i plan on making my army a deathskullz tribe.

    Ok, so here's a question for another revision.

    Lets say I wanted another big mek with a Shokk attack gun to chill with the lootas. What would you guys do to change this list so I could fit it in there.
