First Tau Army List. 1100 Point

Hey, I am about to start playing Warhammer 40k, and I have decided to play Tau. I've used the last five days to make an army list, it has been hours of reading the codex and rulebook again and again, and adding, and removing it again, and etc. But I would like to hear some opinions on the list, since this is my first army list

It's only 1100 points because I dont' have a lot of money atm :p

    ------------ HQ ------------
    1x Battlesuit Commander
    Commander - Shas'El

    Bonding Knife

    2x Shield Drones

    Bodyguard

    Targeting Array
    Hard-wired Multi-tracker
    Hard-wired Drone Controller

    ------------ Troop ------------
    3x Fire Warrior Team
    8x Shas'la with Pulse Rifle

    1x Kroot Carnivore Team
    16x Kroots
(I don't have any Kroot Hounds in this team because they simply cost too much money :p Once I've got some more money, I will start buying some Hounds )

    Troop cost: 382p

    ------------ Elite ------------
    3x Crisis Battlesuit Teams
    1x Shas'ui Team Leader
    Plasma Rifle
    Missile Pod
    Targeting Array
    Hard-wired Multi-tracker

    Elite cost: 231p

    ------------ Heavy Support ------------
    2x Broadside Battlesuite Teams
    1x Shas'ui Team Leader
    Twin-linked Railgun
    Smart Missile System
    Adv. Stabilisation system
    Hard-wired Multi-Tracker
    Hard-wired Drone Controller
    2x Shield Drones

    Heavy Support cost: 240p

    Total Army Cost: 1092p

not the worst i've seen, but the hq is quite bad. bodyguards are just Xv8 elites at 10 points more. make them one of the well known types, the AFP is not good in combo with missle pod. The first few things to add to this list are transports and a hammerhead to "hammer" infantry while the broadside team nails armour. They work well together, because if the broadsides dont quite finish off that land raider, then the hammer head can kill it. If they do take it out, then the hammerhead can flatten a tactical squad instead.

    Thanks for reply :3
About the AFP, I added it in case some infantry somehow would get too close, but I've changed it to Pulse Rifle, since I plan on shooting and then use the jetpack to get away(or in cover). And for the bonding knife + Failsafe detonator, I had some spare points, and I thought the best place to spend them, was in the HQ
About the transport, I don't really see the great thing about a transport. Well, a FW team can move twice as much as they use too, and they are also protected inside the transport. But I think 80 points are just too much. For 80 points I would rather add an extra FW team
I intend to buy a Hammerhead with submunition soon, but I still need some money first :p
If you think I am wrong in anything of the above, please say so
"Second place, is just a fancy way of saying looser."
