1500pt tournament – Jan 16th 2010
Shoota-Skorcha Combi Weapon
3 Power Klaws
3 Big Choppas
Shoota Mob (Foot)
Mechanized Shoota Mob (Deployed in Battlewagon A) 117
Mechanized Choppa Mob (Deployed in Battlewagon 200
Rokkit Launcha (2)
Battlewagon A 165
Battlewagon B 125
My strategy so far is to have the Deff Rolla on the Flank of my Orky line, with the Killkannon creeping being the line being all shooty and the like. The line will order with my Foot Shootas, followed by my Meganobz and Megaboss, followed by my Warboss and his Nob Super-troopers. The Deffrolla is mainly for blitzing up the field and causing as much havoc as possible while the rest of my army is hoofin' in for the grand finale.
If anything happens to Battlewagon B, the choppas will rendevous with the rest of the line. For objectives, Battlewagon A will also break the formation and the Mechanized shootas will claim the objective, while the battlewagon regroups with the rest of the army and continues to shoot.

haveing meganobz and normal nobz on foot is a vary bad idea neither unit can stand up to hevey amounts of fire vary well they need a transport.
Killa kannons are not vary good i would drop it and put on another deff rolla.
use big shootas in your boy unit not rockits haveing 3 shots with a big shoota at bs2is better than 1 str 8 shot
there is no ression to have the second warboss if your not going to make the mega nobz a troop choise i think you would be better served with a KFF big mek
if your going to have your boyz in a battle wagon make them all shoota boyz
you need to put a boss pole on your boyz nobz
put a boss pole and 2 kombi skorcas in your nob squad so you can get wound allocation
you need to put at least 1 big shoota on your battle wagons so that a wepon destroyed result dose not imobilize you
I agree with Tinytim84 on all counts. Only I don't use combi-skorchas for wound allocation. I use them because they're fantastic.

Well, to be frank, I think I should take my advice on this forum with a tad more salt.
I came in third at the tournament. Be it luck, tactics, or lack of either present in my opponents - but the numbers speak.
Goes to show that there isnt just one way to play Orkz.
