Im new to the whole tyranid army. So I need alot of help.
This is my army list, tell me what i should remove or add.
1x Hive tyrant total value= 210pts
'> Twin-linked DeathSpitter, Implant attack, Adrenal Sacs, and default Bonesword and Lash Whip
6x Tyranid Warriors total value= 215pts
'> 5 Deathspitters, 1 Venom cannon, Adrenal glands
20x Genestealers 280pts
'> All with rending claws
10x Termagaunts total value= 110pts
'>10x Devourers, Adrenal glands
20x Termagaunts total value=120pts
'> 20 FleshBorers, 20 Adrenal Glands
15x Hornagaunts total value= 120pts
'> 15 Adrenal Glands
1x Carnifex total value= 205 pts
'> Heavy Venom Cannon, Stranglethorn Cannon
Total Value= 1260pts

Please only post points costs for the full upgraded unit, not the base costs or upgrades.

For 1500pts I would advise taking a bit more anti-tank in your list. A pair of zoanthropes or hive guard would help greatly. Or you could use your namesake, and take a tyranofex with a rupture cannon, which would give you a third monstrous creature as well.
thank you, I shall check out my nearest Games Workshop store tommorow, and take a look at the models, and possibly buy some with my paycheck i got today.
Keep in mind the tyrannofex doesn't have a model, you will have to convert a Carnifex into one for now. Have you picked up your codex? Also have you played any other armies or know what you'll be facing?
yes i have the new codex and rulebook. My previous armies were IG, Chaos space marines and orks.
This is new army havent played a single game with it
Would adding a squad of Raveners help? Should I take out the brood of Hormagaunts to put a different unit in place

You may want to do that. One thing to change is your termigaunts, adrenal glands are not terribly effective for a unit designed to shoot. Also instead of a 10-squad and a 20 squad, consider three 10 squads or two 15 squads.
On second thought, you have plenty of troops, you could easily drop the hormagaunts for ravenors, you gain more power in assault, more assault distance, etc.
Also I feel that genestealer squad is highly unweildly, trying to move 20 of those around is rediculous, also it would be complete overkill in assault. I'd personally say 12-14 max but I'd have to try that out.
Pump your synapse a bit, more warriors, or some zoanthropes would do well. Zoans would also give you some great anti-vehicle shots.
to build the rupture cannon, consider two barbed stranglers stuck together and abit of green stuff to bulk it up. the gws website have a converted model on their website. It's not that good, but atleast it's something to look at.
