    Hive Fleet Omega (monster name not selected yet!)

    My Hive Fleet has slept for many years, floating through the cold depths of space to the Chaos controlled planet of my attic.
    Ie my main opponent is CSM

    I have (too) many Nid models, and as such don't want to buy many more (I will make an exception for those nice Gargoyle models)
    So I cannot use any units introduced in 5th Edition Codex, and won't, but most of my MCs are in many bits so weapon load outs are changable
    Currently working on a few lists. I really want to drown my enemy in an endless tide of Tyranids.

    Any comments and hints are appreciated.

    My Carnifex and Tyrant look like they will stick out as must kill quick units. Vehicles will be tough enough to crack.

    Since I'm lazy and bad at math without my codex, how many points is this for?

    I don't feel regen on the tyrant is all that prevalent when you could take leech essence and steal wounds instead, probably at a more efficient rate even.

    If you have concerns about anti-tank, grab another zoanthrope, and split them into two squads of two.

    Having more, slightly smaller units of gaunts would grant you more flexibility. I would say two squads of 15-20 is more effective than one squad of 30.

    Agreed with alzer about regen, a good oponent willl just drown them in fire before you can use it, especially with them being only 4 wounds.

    Speaking of the tyrant, get those Lash and bone off him, there is nearly no point in having them on there, hes faster than most stuff anyway, and the chances to fail anything worth killing on the leadership are minimal. Stick to tallons.

    Other than that, id get 3 venomthropes in there, just to cover the march forward.

    Oh and some Hive guard, because your lacking in anti transports.

    Sorry, forgot to mention it was 1500. Iff I take off regen and Old Adversary, i can grab another Zoanthrope.
    There are no weapons I can put on my MCs that will take care of transports really, will have to rely on thropes to knock them down
