    1800 Tornament list - C&C much needed

    1800 pts YOT list.

    HQ
    [400]Swarmlord
    Tyrant Guard x2

    Elite
    [170]Zoanthrope x2
    Mycetic Spore - Clusterspine

    Troop
    [100]Termagaunt x20
    [100]Termagaunt x20
    [200]Tervigon - Crushing Claws, Catalyst.
    [110]Tyranid Warriors x3 - Barbed Strangler, Deathspitter x2

    Heavy
    [xxx]Old One Eye
    [265]Trygon Prime - Regenerate
    [195]Mawloc - Regenerate

    Tactics.
Tervigon gives old One eye the Fnp rule and Swarmlord gives him the preferred enemy rule. Now you've got a basic 6 Str 10 attacks on the charge and max 8 with rerolls's to hit. Now rules state that for every hit you get to roll an additional attack with him .. so that's a max of 16x Str 10 attacks. Ad that to toughness 6 with +4 Fnp and re genning wounds on a 5 or 6 up.
The Tervigon, Hive Tyrant with guard and Old one eye work in the trio as discribed above. In KP games im not even gunna use the gaunt spawning skill from the Tervigon. Im also gunna overhype Old One Eye to the enemy verbily before hand.... hoping they pump alot into him. If they actualy shoot the Tervigon a big part of the trios power is gone. Im hoping they dont figure that out till turn 3 or 4
I put the Zones in a pod cause nothing shits up a player more then 2 str 10 lances in your rear armour. Hopefully the Pod will contest an objective too.
The troops all charge up except the warriors... there on babysitting duty for my objective. The trygon and mawloc will hopefully work as a duo, mawloc starting on the table, and burrowing for a nice AP2 blast on turn 2. The trygon apearing nearby for some tank or troop killing.

I personaly think this list is potential filth... but thats with 'rose tinted glasses'. What do you guys think? Please check points if you can too... thanks

New list, more named monsters. You think this could work?

    HQ
    [xxx]Swarmlord

    Elite
    [xxx]Death Leaper
    [130]Doom of Malan'tai - Mycetic Spore
    [160]Zoanthrope x2 - Mycetic Spore

    Troop
    [100]Termigant x20
    [100]Termigant x20
    [185]Tervigon - Toxin Sacs, Catalyst
    [100]Tyranid Warriors x2 - Deathspitter x2, Barbed strangler

    Fast
    [70]Gargoyles x10 - Toxin Sacs

    Heavy
    [xxx]Old One Eye
    [265]Trygon Prime - Regeneration

Again using the same idea as above.

Most weapons that shoot at OOE will ignore the FNP rule therefore you need to take 4 wounds on him before he dies. he'll be foot slogging it across so more than likely they will have 3 turns of shooting him minimum (they should only need 1 with concentrated firepower)

Overall I think your list is to slow with low anti tank, your reserves are likely to come in piece meal and a transport heavy list will be able to sit back kill you then rush to objectives.

    on the first list.

I suggest getting hive tyrants with Hive commander, some genestealers for transport killing and outflanking. maybe some hive guard or venomthropes (hive guard transport killing) venomthropes to save OOE

    @2nd list,

Swarmlord by himself will die get a Hive Tyrant with wings, instead if you can get another Trygon (drop Prime and regen) and maybe lose OOE to get another Hive tyrant then all of a sudden most of your army can appear turn 2 and take him out, you could even create an all drop list... But i guess that is a completely different list to what you were aiming for here...

in general not a fan of OOE too slow to easy to kill even with FNP
